    Whatever the rights and wrongs of it, the show is just not half as interesting when Duffy isnt bullying some poor person, or trying to shut down a private business.

    How come he's on holidays again (I Know I know - a ridiculous question but its a serious one), has he worked a full week on the radio show since summer holidays? (and no Joe you haven't been there all summer like you said)

    Wasn't it just last week that he asked a woman "was that your MAIN holiday this year?"

    Joe is not on holidays caller. He is on a buke tour, must be taking the week off to write the speech.
    Anyone want to send an FoI to nuigalway to see how much the keynote speaker cost?

    Duffy would be in his element there. Spend the day talking about dead children and a load of brown nosers coming up telling him what a great lad he is.

    ]

    So he needs a week off to prepare himself for that?

    He'll be in his element there, along with a load of people who all believe themselves to be intellectually superior to the rest of us.

    He'll be claiming Artist's Exemption for that fee, too, seeing as it's related to Da Buke.

    I have no doubt he'll use the "wonderful feedback" he gets from the crowd to justify his "Childer of Da Trubbles" tome that he is currently planning.

    He'll actually be the dumbest person in the room, but that fact will be lost on him of course.

    The Baird Mk1 was so huge that nobody could fit it in their living room, necessitating it be built outside. Soon, there were gatherings of neighbours to watch the latest hour of TV from Broadcasting House.

    Stick your Brexit talk up your hole, it's been used for an excuse for everything when in actual fact it's the biggest opportunity this country has had since we joined the EU.

    The doctors in West Cork will be happy if all the Brits have to start paying GP fees.
