As he came into the window
It was the sound of a crescendo
    He came into her apartment
He left the bloodstains on the carpet
    She ran underneath the table
He could see she was unable
So she ran into the bedroom
She was struck down, it was her doom
    Annie, are you ok?
    So, Annie are you ok
    Are you ok, Annie
    Annie, are you ok?
    So, Annie are you ok
    Are you ok, Annie
    Annie, are you ok?

Walking back to the office when I realised I drove up to the main street and parked the car there.

Had to walk back like a chump :(

Last night it occurred to me that the other guy, the one I didn't marry, would have been just as wrong for me, and possibly as abusive, as the one I did marry and wound up divorcing.

The guy who sings that "dancing on my own song" is gay.

It was really bugging me the way (I thought) he kept getting the gender wrong. For example "I'm in the corner watching you kiss her".
I always assumed he was in love with the woman, but it's actually about the bloke. Seems so god damned obvious, but it somehow took me months to cop it!

I wouldn't call that really obvious. I'd say it's news to 95% of people here.

I knew that women were born with them already formed but I never really thought about it further than that until I read it :)

Chili con carne actually means Chili with meat - I've spoken Spanish for several years but didn't cop this.

I'm embarrassed to admit this but I could never figure out why Hilary kept the Clinton surname. I've only JUST realised they never divorced!
