That speech is now normal. :(

The uploader of that video does not seem to get that Frank Zappa was satirising what his daughter was depicting

Moon Unit Zappa later appeared in an episode of (the best TV show ever) Curb Your Enthusiam - in a full burka

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

Burkini - hasn't happened yet (maybe), but watch this space.

Not a person's name, but brilliant all the same:

    Diogi. A dog's name - D. O. G.

There is a family in Belturbet, Co.Cavan called Coffey. They are commonly pronounced "Coffee".
So you would wonder why they named their son Theo.

In the village of Muff, Co. Donegal, there are a number of families with the surname Diver.

It's pronounced Div-ver though (anglicisation of the Gaelic name (Ó) Duibhir).

A girl in work knows people who just had a baby yesterday, they named her 'Huntah'.

Kinda makes sense when you are a bogan and say Hunter in a think Australian accent, but still, it's beyond ridiculous.

A mate told me that while staying in digs, the neighbours daughter came looking for her ball from the garden. She was about seven he reckoned.
    What's your name?, he asked.
    "Wivveny " she replied.
Wivveny, says he, I never met anyone called that before.
"Me Mum saw it in a magazine" says the girl.
How do you spell it? asked my mate.

    "Yvonne" she replied!

Eh. That story sounds like BS to me.

He will attempt to rule the world some day, but will eventually get bogged down in a French or Belgian field.

I met a girl named April Raper once. Sadly, she didn't have sisters named Anita or Amanda.

Dublin Zoo seems to be a hotbed for hearing sh!tty children's names. Heard shouts of Freya, Ivor, Izy, Gullian, and Saibh today from groups of aging middle class parents who really should know better.

How hilarious it will be to be called ivor growing up as a child in secondary school,
What slagging will you get .I presume you mean izzy ,
i don,t think theres anyone called izy.
Anyone who calls their child after someone on reality tv is just a chav.
    eg khloe or kim.

Yeah, Freya seems to be quite popular, I can't understand why. It's definitely not the worst kid's name I've ever heard, but it's one of those trendy names that's not nice at all, IMO.

I love the name Freya and am quite fond of Izzy too. The others. No.

    I found this thread online.
I'm currently 27 weeks along in my pregnancy I have two older children Zahara and Zoi. We are having two identical twin boys but we need names! We like unique names or modern names but I like the spellings different.
My husband wants to name them "Zayton and Miller" but I like "sailor and vixon" any names would be appreciated. We like Unique and different names thanks

    Some wonderful suggestions......

    Slade and Blake
    Rhys and Sailor
    Jagger and Storm
    Damon Jett and Ryland Rhett.

I'd personally suggest John but spelt Zön and Mike spelt Zïke.
    That's my kind of different.

From the Irish 'Fear Día' meaning Man of God.

Heard a child called Cordell today, little Crumlin two year old head on him.

I could be wrong but wasn't this a name given to male children who had some form of mental or physical handicap? I think it meant that this child was special in the eyes of god.

It's a pagan name, nothing to do with the Christian god.

Was watching one of those On Benefits shows on Channel 5 last week and they had a teenager called Blue introducing her family. Her two younger sisters were called Mystic Diamond & Sunshine.

I remember seeing some Brony couple in America calling their daughter Twilight Sparkle. I'd say most couples that are heavily into fandoms have some awful children names. Surely there's a child called Naruto out there somewhere.
