Dragon Pulse is a Dragon type move, so it gets STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus).

With STAB, Dragon Pulse is not too far off from Hyper Beam. 22.6 DPS for Dragon Pulse vs 24 DPS for Hyper Beam. Hyper Beam doesn't get STAB since it's a Normal move.

It's not as bad as you think. I have one too with Dragon Pulse, and it still destroys gyms.

Anyone have any nests in Galway ? I've nearly caught a gryados in salthill only 190cp ( I was level 13 ) I seen lapras nearby in salthill again! Would really like to get some rare Pokemon if someone would share?

There's allot of Drowsey around Galway. You can also pick up a Mr Mime and Jynx too

Yea too much of them drowzees I've caught 4 mr mimes and loads of jynx's !

Had a pretty good evening of pokemon go.

I hatched a 1247cp Electabuzz from a 10k egg. (New Pokemon) and evolved my 2nd Gyarados, 1756cp. This one with Bite and Dragon Pulse. Not the best attack set but still better than my first Gyarados with that ****ty twister attack.

Can anyone help me with some ivs? I'm currently level 18, and I finally got a good 93% Ivl poliwag but for him to only end up at 129 cp my question is will powering up effect my evolve into poliwirl be effected?

Personally I only look at CP and where the pokemon is on the power curve.
IV is an overrated statistic

another little trip to bull island. was nothing at the roundabout! I was raging. having said that I managed to get a charmander and had a bulbasuar leg it on me. Also caught my first pikachu to complete my starter mon set. And picked up my 8th 10k egg. Currently on a 4 electrabuzz streak so ill scream if it happens again. Says it all about the place that I came away thinking it hadnt been a great morning.

I anybody remember what page the silph defence stats are on, my arcanine has a move set of fire fang and bulldoze and my poliwrath has mud shot and ice punch.

My 2km eggs are going crazy.
My last 3 have been Geodude, Clefairy and jigglypuff.

I'm certain they were all 2 km eggs. I only put 2km eggs in my infinity incubator.

Anybody else notice an thing like this?

Yeah hatched a Clefairy yesterday. Fairly certain it was a 2km egg as I always hatch them first to make room for new eggs

I have looked at eggs before and thought they where all 5k eggs and without hatching any going back and then noticing a 10k egg.

I saw a Grimer on my Sightings list in Stephen's Green park today but didn't end up finding it. Once I got home, however, what showed up on my Sightings list? Grimer! Went around looking for it for 5 mins and managed to catch it; only my 2nd so far

Thanks for that link, i've been checking it for a while and filtered out the useless pokemon such as drowzee, hypno, pidgeys , rattatas, weedles and zubat and guess what nothing else pretty much appears to confirm my frustration with this game. Haven't seen any new or interesting pokemon to capture for evolving existing ones. Getting bored of this game now and sometimes when i see a pokemon i want, i only get one attempt to capture and it disappears right away. They really need to make some changes to keep players interested...

Finally hit 400 Magikarp candies today! Evolved a 91% Magi at 144CP, had a few spare candies to power up the Gyarados to 1627CP, still a nice bit of room left to power up.

Also got my first Kabuto from 10km egg number 27.

Hatched an aerodactyl from one ten k today and caught a pinsir, both new to my pokedex.
Bull island wasn't the haven for me it has been to others, one dratini at the entrance, two ekans at the roundabout(first time ive seen in the wild) caught a few rhyhorn at the end of st anne's where you leave to go across to bull island, got a kabuto, quite a few voltorb, a ponyta and a pinsir along the walkway on the way to town. Along with multiples of the usual, psyduck, magicarp rats, rats and more fecking rats.

Not a bad day by any means, but for some reason I expected better, pinsir has been the first new in the wild ive seen in a good long while!

Still haven't spotted a mr mime anywhere, whereabouts have people caught it?
