    Have

    Aguero
    Gray
    Lamela
    Mahrez
    Firmino
    Jakupovic

    All high risk at the moment

    I think its time to wildcard but dunno who to get
    Aguero to Costa
    Gray to Rondon/Wilson or Benteke/Bony if you can afford it
    Mahrez to Ozil
    Firmino to Barkley/Sterling
    Jaku to Pickford
    Keep Lamela as he looks unlikely to be banned

    Think I need to wildcard... Rid of Wollscheid, Stones, B.Smith, Jaku, Firmino, Aguero and Gray...

    Think if something was happening to Lamela it'd have happened by now. Just goes to show how driven by media coverage these things are.

    So step 1 to ensuring your FF players doesn't get a retrospective ban. Superinjunction :)

    At the moment I am mulling over taking a 4 point hit on Hojbjerg & Aguero > Ozil & Negredo.

    This would give me a front 8 of:

    Ozil, Hazard, Firmino, Redmond, Ramirez

    Negredo, Ibra, Benteke

    Plan is to bench Redmond for ARS v SOU and MID v CRY, bench Ramirez the following week and Wildcard the following week to bring back Aguero. I think this gives me a couple more weeks to assess who are the must haves.

    Any comments/thoughts?

    head spinning now with the agueroban confirmation

    have 2 f/t

    thinking of a -4 but have to act today as only have exactly enough and Sanchez may rise... Ugh

    Kun->Lukaku
    Firmino->Sanchez

    and then Love->Baines, though that one can wait

    -4 calling me as Sanchez seems a great captain choice this week. Also my defense is in tatters - Valencia/Friend/Love/Wilson/Amat as stands i'll do well to field 3 starters this gw from that lot. Baines on pens makes him super tempting also i won't lie and Everton's fixtures are as good as any's for the next while (hence going with Lukaku - have Barkley already too!)

    What to doooooooooo

    edit: feck it, gonna hold off 'til after the internationals. too much risk involved

    I'm also in a similar situation. Have Aguero/Gray/Firmino/Amat/Friend/Wollscheid/Stones/B.Smith/Jaku. All of them to move on...wildcard soon to be activated.

    Was thinking about Andre Gray situation earlier - Burnley have got an extension until Monday September 5th to respond to FA charge - assuming they find him guilty and ban him - which I think they 100% will - I wonder will Burnley try and appeal it and drag the thing out until after next weekend thus suspending the ban until after their fixture home to Hull.

    This game is a relegation 6 pointer so would be a decent tactic on their part if its possible - the fact they got the delay made me think they might be trying this as surely the club know they FA are going to ban him no matter what information they include in their appeal. The FA aren't in the habit of backing down or showing leniency on political issues,

    Edit: Apologies meant to put this on injuries and suspensions thread - though I can say I will be taking a hit and bringing in Benteke to avoid a fall and gain a probable rise if Gray does get suspended.

    I'm in a similar situation.

    Plan is to take a -4 in doing something like Aguero+Townsend+Stones -> £9.3m+Sanchez+Baines.
    Thing is I've no idea who to replace Agüero with yet. So many unknowns...

    I'm not sure on Lukaku though Everton have a great run of fixtures coming. If you already have Barkley that may be Everton overkill mayn't it?

    Outside Everton ; Arsenal, Palace, Spurs, WBA & WH have good fixtures too. Maybe Benteke? But we haven't seen much from him yet. In fairness no one stands out...

    Might be worth having a look at Iheanacho/Sterling, now that Aguero has been banned. Think I'm going to chance Nolito as well, who looked decent in their last game. Rondon at West Brom might also be worth a punt.

    Had Rondon and watched a good bit of WBA's last game.If that quality of play and service to him continues,he will struggle for goals.

    I think I will need a wildcard,injury and suspensions have caught up on me after a decent start.

    Who'll take the City pens now; Silva KDB?
    Kolarov?

    Aguero -> Costa

    No standout candidate for Kun replacement but can see Chelsea scoring a few against Swansea and possibly also home to Liverpool the following week so like the idea of having Hazard and Costa for a couple of gameweeks. Obvious worry is that he gets that red card he's had coming the last few weeks but by the looks of it he'll have to decapitate someone to get it. Hopefully might get a rise or two out of him before switching back to aguero.

    I wasn't too sure about WBA tbh. Haven't watched much of them.. Only towards the end of last season when Rondon seemed to start settling.

    I reckon it'll be KDB. But I think I'll still go for Nolito as a bit of a differential.

    Aguero to Benteke & Spacecraft to Sanchez for a hit.

    Benteke is a gamble...Palace have ok-ish fixtures so hoping he hits the ground running

    Aguero --> Defoe
    Routledge --> Sanchez

    I prefer Defoe to the likes of Gray, Benteke or Negredo. Home fixtures against Everton, West Brom and Palace within the next 4 gameweeks. Has pens now with Borini out until Christmas.

    3 home games in 4 could be a good shout

    Barkley or sterling?

    Aguero and Tadic out.

    Lukaku and Sanchez in at the moment. Benteke on the radar too but may be too early for him.

    I might bring in Bony actually. Barring Spurs and Utd, their fixtures look piss up to December.

    Ozil gave an interview in Germany,he said now Wilshere is gone that he wants to #10 role and become the main creative player in that role.If that happens,he could become a real must have.

    Wilshere was hardly keeping him out of a spot though.

    That said, Ozil is my Arsenal mid for now.

    He said he wanted the number 10 shirt.
    He already has the number 10 role.

    I may brush up on my German.:P

    Anyhow,back to transfers,my new frontline sans Kun is made up of Zlatan,Negredo and Benteke.Tried to shoehorn Costa in but didn't want to sacrifice my midfield options to afford him so Benteke and Negredo it is.Zlatan is a must have.

    Thinking of bringing in Nolito for cheap fifth mid and Aguero to Bony.

    That would give me a front 7 of:

    Coutinho (one more chance!), Payet, Nolito, Capoue, Hazard,
    Ibra, Gray, Bony.

    Even if Gray is banned too, I should be okay for players. Providing Payet makes an appearance!

    Gray ban is pivotal for me
    If he gets off I'm keeping him . 3 homes games in 4
    And I'll run with Ibra gray benteke for a few weeks
    If not then it makes things trickier
    Not sold on negredo or Costa
    Kane zero form
    Payet could be a massive differential. He is in my WC team. It's him or Antonio depending on Sanchez /Ozil choice

    I've had Payet since GW2 so I'm just gonna hold him at this point! The third striker is very difficult. Remy, Benteke, Bony, Costa, Defoe, and Negredo are the probably options but there is such an unknown quality to them. All of them are relatively viable options, but each has a serious question mark too. It's a tough one! :o

    I just checked Negredo career stats. Did not realise they were that good.

    Granted his last 2 seasons were so so but Valencia is struggling lately. Even at City where he did not feature that much (9 PL goals in 32 games, probably mainly sub appearances) his overall stat is 23 goals in 48 games which is pretty decent.

    Defoe is tempting but Sunderland aren't.
    Same with Bony at Stoke.
    And I'm very curious to see what Benteke-Rémy turns out to become at Palace.
    Then, I'm so far happy enough with Gray (if he's not banned).

    About Payet, he's not fully fit yet. He barely featured for Les Bleus last Thursday. Let's see if he starts Tuesday night (I doubt it). It may still be a bit too early for him FPL-wise.

    Any idea who to get in as my goalkeeper?
    Currently have Jaku/Pickford but assuming Jaku won't be starting anymore and Pickford possible out...
