Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

More likely Sunderland got him to pull out of the U21 game so their only goalkeeper doesn't get injured!

Its billed as precautionary and he's expected to be fit for GW4 so possibly that they don't want him risked given their lack of cover.

Is there a chance of an additional suspension if the appeal fails?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Extra game I think if if they decide that it was a frivolous appeal.

    I immediately regret wildcarding.

    I dunno
At least ya could wildcard with him still in team and not have to rip it up in 3 weeks!

Yeah I'm quite happy to have played my WC given that state of flux many players appear to be in.

An independent panel is due to rule on the case on Friday using written submissions and reviewing video evidence.

Ah what happened to the good old days when injured players were injured and players facing bans were just banned.

Yeah I thought that. Goes back to the days when if a player appealed they freed themselves up for next game while appeal was heard, so clubs could use that to effectively defer the suspension by 1 game if it suited. Hence the rule on frivolous appeals.

It's always sorted out, appeal and all, within days now. The Gray one for off pitch stuff being different obviously.

It looked like Sanchez was rising so I got him in but had to sell aguero :D
If he isn't banned I'll get him back but he will cost me 13.1

0.1 lost in value if he doesn't drop regardless.

Not that Stoke are appealing at the moment but Jack Butland needs another operation on his ankle could be out for another 2 months.

The delay on the Aguero and Gray news is a bit of a pain. I suppose it's a small blessing that he has timed one of his regular injuries at the same time as well!

Just to be clear, Lamela has not been charged, and has therefore gotten away with it?

    Any white smoke re Aguero?

My phone got wet at football training last night so I'm off line with no twitter etc for the usual FPL news feed.

My decision to play my WC and transfer him out is justified thankfully

Was thinking about Andre Gray situation earlier - Burnley have got an extension until Monday September 5th to respond to FA charge - assuming they find him guilty and ban him - which I think they 100% will - I wonder will Burnley try and appeal it and drag the thing out until after next weekend thus suspending the ban until after their fixture home to Hull?

This game is a relegation 6 pointer so would be a decent tactic on their part if its possible - the fact they got the delay made me think they might be trying this as surely the club know they FA are going to ban him no matter what information they include in their appeal. The FA aren't in the habit of backing down or showing leniency on political issues.

Sorry, been away a while. Did anything come of the Lamela "slap" on Lovern, any chance he's gonna get a ban for it?

No word yet. Seems highly unlikely now.

Shaw withdrawn from the England squad. No further details about what the problem is.

Jebus, they're falling like flies. I might have no option but to play the wildcard before the deadline if either of Shaw or Mané don't make it.
