If you're buying a trolley don't buy anything that looks like this:

Get one with big inflatable wheels like this:

Other than that I think I'll just stay in the campsite.

That's one expensive weekend to sit in a field of tents.

Is my memory playing tricks on me, or wasn't it the case that computer-savvy types were able to hack the official app and extract the timetables from it in previous years? Presume they've mitigated for that now.

Is this years Map on that app?

When you first open it it asks you to download the updated maps, then you download them, then it says the maps have been updated, then you go into maps and it's a picture saying "Maps coming soon".

    In short, 'Wait for Pablo'.

Don't think it was the timetable, but people managed to work out the running order from the stage description pages. Normally the timetable isn't actually stored in the app and the app just downloads it from a database on the web once it becomes available.

You're an absolute idiot if you've paid €260 for a ticket and you plan on staying in the campsite and missing Years & Years.

not that I can remember but I'd suspect those sorts of beers were not high on peoples drinking agendas

It seems strange booking a tribute nineties act like Smash Hits when you have the real thing with Snap, weird eh!

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

This is not the same as last year's official app. It looks fairly decent in fact. They even seemed to be using google maps rather than some static image.

Probably, but some people are like that. A (good) few years ago, a lad I work with spent the whole weekend in the campsite except for a 2 hour period when he saw Mario Rosenstock in the Comedy tent and then did a bit of wandering. He didn't even go to a decent comedian!

Anyone into Glass Animals? Haven't seen them on anybody's lists. I've only discovered them recently and am digging their sound. Plus their new album is out Friday. Wondering what they are like live.

Im not sure what o think of their new singles. Saw them in 2014 on one of the smaller B&S stages. Not a big crowd and they were ok. I have them on my "sure well see how were gettin on" list. That mighy get updated Friday.

They played two sets in 2014 - Little Big Tent & Main Stage Body & Soul, both on the Sunday. Caught the first one and great, pals said the second one was even better. I'm expecting a very decent set from them next week, though I've not heard the new album yet.
