For me it was because of Battery Saver mode - walking along with the phone in my hand caused the app/screen to sleep/wake rapidly causing the UI to freeze. Now I just keep the phone pointing down or leave it in my pocket (using Android's Screen Pinning mode to avoid unwanted screen tapping).

I got an Eevee from a 10km egg. Not too shabby. Had enough to evolve. Typed Sparky and I got a Jolteon. Had enough candies left over to evolve my last Eevee. I typed in Pyro and I got a Flareon. So I think that's good.

i've yet to get a 10k egg but i'd be pretty bummed getting an Eevee from one! Only the rarest Pokemon should come from 10K eggs and ones with relatively decent CP.

10K is a fair trek for a small reward. A Scyther with a relatively decent CP seems like an apt reward but maybe that's wishful thinking. I don't do well from eggs at all.

Saw the shadow of a Cubone the other day for the first time, he was always my favourite back in the day when the original cartoon was on hopefully i can catch one soon. would love to find somewhere close to me where they spawn regularly so i could evolve a Marowak.

There's something a lot more satisfying about evolving your original mons into their final forms than simply finding and catching them.

The plus side of the Evee hatch is that you almost always will end up with enough candies to evolve it strait away so its not really the evee your getting it's on of the 3 evolves, can actualy turn out to be some of the higher CP pokemon you hatch

Yea I was a little miffed but along with it I got a good wallop of candy. My 431 eevee changed to a 1470 Flareon so I was happy with that, so. But I was kind of expecting something damned rare!

There's a lot of Cubone's in St. Stephen's Green, if you happen to be nearby. I reckon it's a pure Cubone spawn there. I found enough to evolve it to a Marowak anyway.

The worst is getting a Jynx from a 10k egg. I've gotten two of those so far

My 10k eggs so far have been Lapras, Kabuto, Snorlaz, Scyther & Jynx.

Haven't had one in quite a while now though.

God knows when I'll get another 10km egg, or indeed get any kabuto candy to evolve him!
I have since caught 2 better Pinsir, at last the Eevee allowed me to evolve some 1500+ Vaporeons today.

Merrion Sq is a Magmar nest, read it here and found 3 today in 40 minutes.

Mine has been Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Mr.Mime and Eevee. Quite low cp as I got all my 10kms before lvl 15. Haven't got one since.

Hatched a 512CP Pikachu earlier and now I have enough candies to evolve too. The 2km and 5km eggs have been alright so far, it's the 10km eggs that have been absolutely shocking (Eevee, Jynx and 2 Pinsirs in the last 4).

I got a 1200cp eletabuzz with my last 10k egg. Only other one I had was something like 45cp, so happy enough with that.

I have to do it a lot. I find sometimes losing GPS signal can fúck it up, going from wifi to 3g can do the same. I usually have it open with the wife, she might have stuff on here nearest radar and mine is empty. Do a restart and the radar is full again.

I must say, fair play in a way to the guys who've been playing since week one. The novelty has worn off for me weeks ago and same with 95% of my friends.

So I hatched around 5 eggs today, 2 of them weedles and one paras. The others were ponyta and growlithe.
Still no feckin 10k eggs to replace them >:(

Nice, wish I could get a Lapras from one. I didn't mind getting Jynx as I didn't have it and never seen a wild one.

Currently incubating my 16th 10km egg - so far I've had 4 Eevee's, 2 Scyther, 2 Pinsir then 1 of Chansey, Electabuzz, Snorlax, Onix, Omanyte, Jynx & Dratini.
Hopefully something new pops out of the next one, still need Lapras, Aerdactyl, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan & Kabuto

10 km eggs are few and far between for me at the moment. Last 2 10k eggs I hatched were Jynx as far as I can remember. Did get an Electabuzz and Scyther from them before but I seem to be keeping steady at always carrying 7 2k eggs and 2 5k eggs. Have already hatched 2 2k eggs today and both times got a Zubat

TLDR: I ain't having any luck with eggs.

Also i went down to athlone it was amazing to see so many pokestops (as I normally play in the middle of nowhere in Galway) I got mostly 5k eggs..

I would wish it would be easier for rural players, I seen that new tracking system with pokestops unfair for people like me.

As usual my stroll to Portmarnock beach from the carpark doesn't fail!

Today's new additions:

a 768CP Gloom, the highest CP wild Pokemon i've caught to date.

I also caught a 220CP Polywhirl, fairly weak but it was new to the pokedex so all good. Ive a rake of Polywags so hopefully i'll be able to jump straight to Polywrath now.

Hatched two 2K eggs on my stroll also one of which gave me a 320 Geodude which i hadn't got before hand so that was nice.

By the time i got back to the car i'd levelled up again too. Level 18 now, slowly but surely. Work gets in the way of my Pokemon adventure way to much :pac::rolleyes:

So I've been holding off evolving an Arcanine for more than a week now because I just couldn't find a decent Growlithe to evolve. Today I caught one that is 892CP!! Gonna evolve it right now, hopefully it doesn't end up with a crappy moveset like the Blastoise which learned Flash Cannon in my previous post. Wish me luck guys

Edit: 2038CP Arcanine with Fire Fang and Flamethrower. Fire Blast instead of Flamethrower would have been preferred but happy enough with that. Looking forward to trying it out at a few gyms soon :cool:

I took the plunge and bought the 4,99€ IAP but I'm not seeing the coins yet, the amount was taken from my credit and it shows in my purchases but it's not on the app yet even if I close and reopen.

Any suggestions?

Went to ranelagh gardens didnt catch one! Bull island is good for pokemon

Heritage park a few scythers there

Looking for mr mine, charmander and snorlax if anyone can point me in direction?

Also my eggs are not hatching anythin great lately

yes I went about a week ago and caught 3 magmar within 15 minutes

Managed to connect for ten minutes earlier. Nothing to catch inside dunnes stores though. On the bus to Dublin now and it's humble bollocks servers for all accounts. Bye bye Hypno.

Edit:finally connected just as we got to Dublin. Forgot it was an Express bus, went straight to the airport

Maybe I'll hatch a Drowzee.

Same. although there was one knocking around work the other morning just couldn't find him! I haven't had a 10k egg in about 20 eggs now, all 2k and 5k.

I've reached Level 23. The next level is so far away, I need some game updates to keep my motivation. A working tracking system, maybe trainer battles, 2nd gen. Give me something Niantic.
