Anyone have any idea what this is? Opened the cab up last week to rummage around and found that sitting inside. Tried searchin the serial/model numbers on the side, but no joy.

Took me longer than it should have to realise it was a jamma pcb... Spotted the edge connector after 5 minutes. Probably helped that it said jamma on it

    Hat Trick Hero (1990)

But someone left an erotic painting in the hallway...

Is it still outside? (The painting) I definitely think it's haunted.
Please don't Mario 64 into it either, awks

Just figured you were talking about the painting... a confused few moments there....

Super Atavan Bros in Erotic Painting World....
    I'd probably buy that.
Kind of a cross between Cho Aniki, Senran Kagura and Mario 64.
Just be sure to give the rumble pack a wipe before touching it #eww

And it works. Screen would need to be flipped and I'd either have to wire up coin buttons or set it to free play, but it boots up

Google it and see if there's any dip switches on the board that might rotate the image for you.

Found a copy of the manual online. There is a dip switch labelled normal or reverse, but I'd assume that just mirrors the picture. I'll try it out next time I get a chance and see how it goes.

Im guessing if there's a free play option it's in the test menu? The dip switches only allow you to set the number of plays per credit.

So, someone has hacked their Hobbit pinball machine to do all sorts of things including broadcast itself on Twitch.

Holy crap... the animation in this CDTV game makes Zelda CDi look like Studio Ghibli.

Apparently some of the guys that made Carmageddon made it but they refuse to talk about it.

Also you should check out the secret ending if you've not already done so.

It's like a Mitchell and Webb tribute to 90's CD based games.
    Priceless!
Imagine your folks investing in such an expensive piece of hardware, around €1600 in today's money, while your mates have MDs and Snes' !

Ugh, what the hell happened there. I mean 1997 Berserk wasn't exactly high budget but they did so much with what they had and the animation was great. The CGI just looks horrible and what's with it being so colourful!

They played it at Games Done Quick, I think it was last year, it's a great watch!

It's an abomination. The CGI reminds me of early PS1 FMV intros, and not in a good way :(

I actually started Final Fantasy Tactics again this week and the PSP version has the same CGI art style for the cutscenes... except for some reason it doesn't suck ass.

At least one good thing came of the new Berserk anime, it made me start reading the manga.

How far are you into the manga?

I bought the volumes up to number 13 and then read the rest up to thirty something on my phone :pac: - will have to go back and buy the rest, it really is a fantastic epic.

I just hope Kentaro Miura doesn't pop his clogs before it's finished!

Only starting the golden age arc so loads to go. Apparently he is 60-70% of the way through now but at least is putting out content at a steady rate at the moment. Guts and the lads are still apparently stuck on a boat though :)
