Must see: LCD, Shins, Super Furries, New Order

Apart from these there's about 15 acts that i'd like to see clashes permitting.

Lots of good music there but 1 more must see from Fridays announcement would be nice.

Also i'm really liking this DBFC band that another poster linked to a few pages back, they might go down a treat at about 1-2am in Body & Soul.

Best news about the Red Bull thing is they're bringing the same great stage they used at Dekmantel image-687x386.png

where did you see this mentioned? can't find any reference to it being the same stage online.
the stage belongs to Dekmantel it seems, it was there this year as the Green House with no Red Bull involvement whatsoever as far as I can tell/remember. RB sponsored it in previous years (eg. that picture) but not this year.

    Must see - LCD.

I'm keeping that list sort because I'm going with my wife and a baby this year for the first time, so I suspect I'll spend a lot of time chilling in Body and Soul or eating food. I don't want to hype myself up for acts I'm likely to miss, so I have a massive list of "would like to see" acts that are all mid, low tier stuff that'll be easy to get to and not too crowded. Kind of prefer it this way anyway!

I'm really looking forward to Toots and the Maytalls, Nas, the Shins. I've heard Nathaniel Rateliff is brilliant live.

Very "meh" about all the headliners tbh.

Wonder will grace Jones be announced... Perhaps waiting for her Olympia gig to go on sale first?

Not a chance. Too soon since her last EP gig, and she's doing the RDS Metropolis gig as well as the Olympia.

I reckon the Fun Lovin Criminals might, just might be in the final announcement. They're doing a 20th anniversary tour of Come Find Yourself and would be a very good addition. Seen them on this tour in January in Vicar St,was a brilliant gig

I'm coming around to the fact that this may be a far more relaxed year for us. Not half as many 'must sees' might make for a very different experience.

Villagers have a nice gap, and quite honestly I can never get enough of them.

Re: Daft as Punk. Having soaked up Tradiohead a few years back, I'm sure I'd enjoy them. Check out Daft Punk Unchained on Netflix…anyone who attended the legendary Marlay Park gig will thoroughly enjoy it…as will all fans.

    must-see: LCD

the rest are varying levels of "would like to see but wouldn't really care about missing them". and most of those i've seen in the past 2 years anyway.

This. Although I'll add Broken Social Scene, too, having stupidly decided to watch a terrible World Cup final instead of them at Oxegen many moons ago.

I'll exert some kind of effort to catch the following but won't cry if I don't:

    New Order
    The Shins
    SFA
    Daniel Avery
    Girls Names
    Ninos Du Brasil
    Booka Brass Band
    Pete Pamf
