The hay is saved, straw is in and the mother's birthday is celebrated. I think I deserve this

In some pubs your not sure of a bottle is a safe option. But the taste is slightly stronger

    Anyone watching women's bicycle race.
The leader a Dutch woman out on her own guaranteed a gold just went headover heels on the downhill descent.
Landed on a concrete curb on her back.
Looked very nasty. The American looks to have the gold now.
    Terrible way to go out.

They only said she's consious and on the way to hospital.
I'd be expecting neck and spinal injuries with a crash like that.

The guy that crashed yesterday broke two collar bones on the same descent,
OH used to cycle race, sickening to watch it sometimes, no protection in crashes, OH lost her nerve for it when a friend broke her neck

It was a bit of a stupid course to be bringing them on though.
The commentator was saying they would have to be careful on the descent just before the crash. He was saying that the protection on the corners was useless and if they went off it was a big drop down the mountain.
It looked like new asphalt on the road and there was no curbing on a lot of it just a 10 inch drop off the asphalt. Easy to be wise after but another poster on boards said they should have put hay bales on the corners on the descent.
It didn't look very well planned.

Actually when i'm on a bit of a rant the IOC is banning the Russian para Olympic team from the para Olympic games over the doping issues with the main Russian team (not the para Olympians). I mean come on if you going to ban the team, ban the team but don't take it out on the para Olympians.

Cant believe they allowed ANY Russian athelites into the games... To see that swimmer in the head today with Fiona Doyle after she failed six tests is just wrong..
