Yeah an iPad would be fine you wont need to go fork out money for an iPhone, maybe wait for 3months and use your big discount, I got my 6s for €19

I reckon I'd keep the big discount for something like a Mac. I'm actually quite fond of my windows phone.

Yep, thats pretty much spot on :-) how long are you with Apple? I've probably spoken to you at some stage lol

A year now, i would say so def! in one of the chats if nothing else......the time of the interview and filling out all the forms and all that is a blur now, I just know it went on forever

I wasn't exactly dying to move there but i settled in after the first week, most calls are start up issues, slow performance and email issues, the training was a bit overwhelming but you have to cover every possible call of course even though it might come in once a month, and I can honestly say the customers are a lot nicer and easier to deal with in it, they seem to have a lot more patience for a start

Ya know every person that has moved to Mac has said the exact same thing about the customers

Id heard it off everyone beforehand as well and I didn't believe it.......its true! they really are but I don't think IOS customers are that bad either though, i used to deal with ten times worse in other jobs

    How's the training going?

It's fairly intense. I wouldn't say it's difficult but there's a lot to take in.

    Hey everyone,

I have been reading all the posts here and most have been very informative so thank you all for your input and for sharing your experiences.

I was just wondering what is the avg net/take home pay for a 39hr week? I could not find recent posts about the pay offered only posts from last year. Is the pay offered in 2016 still 23,000 per annum for the the probation period? Also I'm guessing this is gross pay right? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am currently living abroad and coming home in Oct and was considering applying for a position if there are available at that time.

I have worked in a call center in the past for AOL in their retention dept and we used to have to deal with some of the most irate/rude customers I have ever come across in my life and then at the end of the call try convince them not to cancel their account with us. It was stressful at times but the pay was very good along with retention bonuses so it was easy enough to put up with the irateness when you knew you were getting paid well. Just wondering if people feel the compensation/pay working for Apple is worth it?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Gross = 23,500 after 6 months 27.500 working on a Sunday is extra pay .3 of hourly rate.

The benefits are great one of the best companies to work for, plenty of progression for future roles in the company.

*edited*.. hard to type and use brain after a 10 hour shift :P
