Congrats Scouse and Tara! Good for ye!

A line is a line Tara, congrats! It has detected the pregnancy hormone, can't fake that really. The ClearBlue are apparently not as sensitive as strip tests.

Thanks. I really don't know how to feel. Hoping it's not a chemical...... I have zero symptoms, I used a cheap test first and saw there was a faint line so that's why I used the First response, that was a definite line. But it's disappointing now , worried now that I have raised DHs hopes for nothing. I have another digital and fighting the urge to test again tonight....

Tonight will likely be a waste of a test. You really need to test with first morning urine at this early stage.

But a line is a line, congratulations :)

    Congratulations to Scousemouse too :)

Oh, and a lot of the time on this forum the positives tend to come in threes ... ;)

Don't test tonight. Digital scan need up to a hcg of 100. First response is 6, but closer to 10. Wait for the digital. It's a scary time I'm terrified and trying not to get excited at all.

Ok, thanks a mill for advice. I had the test out and then read your replies so I put it back.... Will wait, thanks again.

Aw I am so happy for you both! I am hoping I am the third.. five days late. I am moving between constipation (which I never get) and diarrhea. I am getting mild cramping on and off that makes me think my period is here but it's not! I keep getting little dizzy spells too. I wee at least twice during the night so am hoping that it is just not as concentrated as the strip needs for a positive. I won't get to test tomorrow's so will have to wait until Wednesday, which will be 7 days late. Fingers crossed!

Fingers crossed for you!!! That's so exciting :)

Amazing news scousemouse and Tara. I'm so delighted for you bothI'm still not TTC at the moment.it was taken over my life , I need to be more calm about it. I plan on starting again in September and hope my approach will be better then. As in I was always using doctor Google and convincing myself I was pregnant. I was a little obsessed

More negative tests here this morning. I am 7 days late and have been consistently getting waves of light period- like cramps since about 2 days before I was due. I am very confused!

Sorry to hear that :( are you usually very regular? If not, there might be still a chance. You could have o'd late and implanted v late?

Quite possibly. My period was 5 days early last month! I was planning on using ovulation sticks after this period to make sure I am actually ovulating. We only really started trying in the last two months. I have been on the pill for so long but the last 5 months off it i have been pretty regular. I am going to a wedding on Saturday so would like to know for sure if I am or am not pregnant so I can party the night away!

Fingers crossed! Either way by Saturday you should defo know for sure :)

Ovulation sticks wont tell you if you have ovulated, they only detect the LH surge, which doesn't necessarily lead to ovulation. The only way to tell for sure is by taking your basal body temperature every morning and charting it.

(I had a 2 day long LH surge the month I conceived... twins, hormones were way out of kilter I think)

Oh thanks for that. I really thought the sticks were a foolproof "the egg is on it's way!" marker! Oops! Might start temping after this month if needed!

I'm a fan of temping, I started with the opk's but they didn't seem to work for me, got a peak on them too soon. The only thing about the tempting is that you don't have advance warning of ovulation but with fertility friend app that helps.
Keep is posted,, hopefully it is a bfp!

Ah very sorry to hear than Emma, hugs to you. Does your gyn have a plan for you for ttcing? At least you know now though so does take some of the unknown out of this process.

On progesterone support which is causing full-on early pregnancy symptoms but BFN at 11 dpo so I'm sure at this stage that I'm out. It's horrible stuff.

Thanks! Slowly getting over my pity party! Ye gyn has started me on 500mg of glucophage to help regulate my cycle. Im still getting physio on all the muscle issues so back with the gyn in nov to hopefully get the go ahead and clomid

Think of it as an opportunity to prepare your body for TTC. Clean up your diet, cut out sugar, processed foods etc (assuming you don't haven't done that already).

I was where you were a few months ago. It took me a while to look at it differently. Now I think at least I know what's wrong and have a plan for it. I still have bad days usually coinciding with getting my period but the initial shock or whatever has passed. Best of luck.

Hey how's everyone doing ? I can't believe it August already this year is flying by. I'm still out of TTC'ing maybe another month or so&il be back. I'm half attempting to temp. But keep forgetting to take temp at same time. I decided to try ovulation sticks just the cheapy one,I have to say I find that process a tad tedious, decided to take a pregnancy test just for the craic at the same time. My cycle seems to be returning to normal was getting very long, probably due to the stress and over thinking. But I'm feeling good that my body will be ready.

Oh no hope your feeling ok. Crossing my fingers for you.
I've had a bad week, terrible cramping Tuesday! So severe I had to leave work early plus tell my boss disaster! I've a scan next week so going to have to ask for time off for it! Plus try not worry the whole time until it!
