Oh! I don't know we don't here much about other parts of the world but the level of vitriol that comes out of America is truly a sight to behold.

Find where I said that, or stop spreading lies.
when many within the Democrats were opposed even to ObamaCare.
Seriously, stop spreading lies or there is no other option but to report your posts.

In the house of representatives, 219 of 253 Democrats voted for it.
In Congress, every single democrat voted 'yea' for it. 59/59
Democratic support of the act was was 89%

Again, stop lying. It is very, very easy to point out when you do.
These are Democrats her party that were against the legislation that Obama wanted passed and if she did not convince her party than how can you expect her to persuade the Republicans. Nothing will be decided on be it abortion, gun control or immigration without bipartisan support and Obama became a lame duck President on these issues.
Weird, you'd swear same sex marriage, affordable health care and the legalisation of marijuana never happened.
How will Hillary get the GOP to work with the Democrats?
There are no politicians in the Democratic party that the GOP would work with. It's not to do with the person, it's to do with the letter beside their name. Hence how up in arms they were and still are about an affordable care act that they essentially proposed back in the 90s! It got passed by someone with the wrong letter beside his name, and that's all that matters.
The answer is she won't America is more divided than ever and you believe by constantly issuing personal attacks against Trump this will make her chances of winning any better sure you are doing the same to Trump what people on the street on doing to Muslim Americans.
Post ends here. Explain this now.

I have not lied about anything all I said was her polices closely resemble the Bush policies. We are not talking specific legislation. As for specific legislation a lot of those laws were conducted on the state level and Congress despite the attempts of many reformers has not nudged on vital laws gun control, abortion nor immigration. Arizona passed its own legislation on that. Not to mention has the Democrats done anything about stopping the use of Shannon to cross over to bomb civilians in the Arab world. No so she is the same as Bush.

    Bush
    anti abortion
    anti gun control
    anti immigration

    Obama
abortion being challenged in the courts
    gun control unchanged
    immigration unchanged

Without Congress Hillary will not have the power to get her legislation passed and thus far she has not proposed any new approach to the problems troubling the land.

No it isn't but the increasing power and corruption of the oligarchy that the US has arguably become effects us all. We are all living with the consequences of the hubris of their illegal invasion of Iraqi in 2003 under Bush and the mass use of drone stikes which has killed so many innocents under Obama. The US's actions in the middle east have made the world a more dangerous place so sadly the fact that their political system is such a disaster right now has knock on effects which can be very serious.

It was a question about who is on his national security/foreign affairs teams, he said he didn't want people who should have gone to the beach rather than pushing for warm, or to that effect, look up his press conference it is in there.

Dragged a little the Hillary speech and when she yelled which was often, it was harsh on the ears.

However the bullet point attacks on Trump were perfect for this era where soundbites are king.

Not a perfect week for the dems, but one thing they have done pretty well is to try and appeal to the moderate republicans who loath the Donald. Hillary, Kaine and Obama all praised Republicans and getting Bloomberg to speak was another play to them.

They may not vote Hilary, but if they abstain or vote Johnson in protest then Donald is doomed.

Although obviously Hilary still has work to do to get the Bernie or bust brigade out to vote also, its going to be fascinating to see who can rally their most ardent respective party critics more successfully.

All the more reason to vote Democratic downballot too. Obama has tried with Congress - the grand bargain was, in fact, a grand idea. Republicans welshed, and that was it and it's been downhill since.

Let's be real about Obama - he's a moderate Republican in his policies. Such no longer exist; Reagan wouldn't get in the front door with the teaPublican party as it stands today. The GOP's devolved to racism and knee-jerk issues like gun control, and gerrymandering, to keep alive. With luck this election will see a bunch of them off especially in the Senate.

Oh, on the lie issue; Trump won politifacts 'liar of the year 2015' award. Can't wait till this one though I'm confident he's got that one in a landslide, too.
    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/dec/21/2015-lie-year-donald-trump-campaign-misstatements/

Hilary is a 25+ year politician who has been under the microscope since Bill got elected. It's amazing to me she's held up to the relentless scrutiny, to the hateful image the media on all sides has promulgated pretty much until recently, and $22+ million spent by the US taxpayer to discredit her via Congressional investigation. I doubt most of us would have been able to keep it up. www.benghazicommittee.com is an eye-opener, Congress can't do needed legislation but they can bring the State department and the military practically to a halt with this grinding witch-hunt, thankfully that's over for now.

Hillary and the other keynote speeches at the DNC preached positivity and the fundamental strength of America.
Trump's speech was negative, dark and talked about a weak America needing a strongman to fix it.

    That's a fairly clear choice. Let's go.

I apologise if this has been discussed already, but Trump has such thin skin.

How could be he a world leader, he literally cannot take any criticism what so ever.

Just watch this reaction to the speakers at the DNC:
    http://us.cnn.com/2016/07/28/politics/donald-trump-dnc-response/index.html

I was expecting a lot of silly tweets from him but this makes him look like an awful child, good job barely anyone is watching this as they are still probably glued to the DNC news & reactions.

If Trump gets elected I could see him hating the job and not run for a second term.

Sad as it is to say, this may be the path to victory for Dems: Just keep needling Trump and collecting these crazy reactions.
I can picture him absolutely losing his **** in the debates on live TV if Hillary, for example, makes some well-crafted comment questioning the size of his . . . . wealth. (See what I did there? I think for Trump, his $=his masculinity)

That is pathetic. Turns out Trump can dish it out but can't take it. If that is how quickly he goes to pieces he won't last the debates.

The debates are going to be seriously entertaining for us and seriously worrying for those who will be voting over there in November.

Trump definitely looks like he could go off on one during the debates and come out with some sound bite that will be enough to ruin his campaign.

I doubt it. He'll withdraw into a shell and defend IMO.

I may be way off though, it's what any sane candidate would do.

Just listening to Hillary's speech now. The fact that "I believe in science" needs to be said by a candidate of a major party is depressing.

I mean I get it was a direct jab at Pence but it really should be automatic at this point for both sides of the aisle.

Yet the link says: Trump often uses the term "hit" to mean verbally attack, rather than physical contact.

Isn't that what they all do?They are politically campaigning, each side is always hitting the other side.

And people who believe that he meant hit verbally, would believe anything

So how many people has Trump actually physically hit?

I haven't looked up the answer, but you seem to believe he is into assaulting people.

Who is right, you or CNN?

Its irrelevant how many people he's actually assaulted.

When the protester get carried out and he said he'd love to punch him in the face, did he mean verbally punch him in the face? No he meant physically, whether he's actually assaulted someone before or not.

This is the exact same, its a macho statement in front of his adoring fans and certainly doesn't mean verbally hit.

Your statement is contradictory, you say he meant it, but when you are asked to give his record on assaulting people it is irrelevant.

I looked it up after my previous post, Trump claims he hit his music teacher and got in trouble with both the school and his parents.

But nothing of physical violence as an adult, if you believe he means actually hit, then that is being gullible as there is no evidence to back it up.
