Noticed that the USB cable that came with the phone was playing up so opened a ticket yesterday afternoon about it & fair play to OPO, got emails this morning to tell me that they were sending me on a replacement. Happy OPO customer :D

OPO? I think you're in the wrong thread :D

Whether it was the OPO or OP2 did you buy it less than a year ago?

I assumed you meant op2 because if it was a one you meant you'd have used one of the billion other USB cables you probably have lying around.

Guys - any of you have experience with service requests from Ireland - sending back a one plus 2 ? - finger print scanner/home button has stopped working - is completely dead - very annoying.
I did a factory reset etc. however no joy.

My hands were very slightly wet when it happened - I had just washed them - nothing over the top. However phone started glitching and when I restarted it fingerprint button was gone.

Will this cost money to repair do you think ?
Other than the finger print button everything is working perfectly on the phone.

    Thoughts/info welcome

You're probably better off buying Micro USB to USB-C

The USB-C is a USB 2.0 not 3.0 (fast charging and transfer speeds)

USB C is brilliant. The cables are so easy to plug in in the dark and the ones that came with the phone seem pretty indestructible.

Is there something wrong with your battery?

For a large screen phone I find the battery life pretty normal. One full charge lasts most of the day.

That's not normal. Can you post a screen shot of your battery stats? And tap on the graph and take a screenshot of the history details.

Very disappointed with this phone after using it for a week. Seems to take hours to charge and still only barely lasts a day. Any tips and tricks to help it last longer besides the obvious screen brightness and killing apps/WiFi etc.

Must be something wrong with yours as mine charges quite fast and battery lasts all day moderate use. I would get 4 and a half hours of on screen time with heavy use(That is using it constantly, watching youtube videos on boards and facebook etc...)

Maybe I'm expecting more? It's not the flagship killer its touted as that's for sure. I came from the iPhone 5c and battery life is about the same... I was expecting a lot more.

Tbh there is very few phones if any at all that would get 4 and a half hours on screen time. The battery time would be about 6-8 hours.
Also I will add that is without any battery saving going on, wifi on, data on etc...

It shouldn't take hrs to charge. Are you using the original plug and socket? How many hrs screen on time are you getting?

My cable has just started malfunctioning over the past week - I think it has worn, will only charge in certain positions.

I've just submitted a ticket, fingers crossed for a similar result!

Exact same thing has happened to mine in the last two weeks.

Won't change anymore if I pick the phone up.

I just got the update to Oxygen 3.1, took about 20 mins to install.

I'm in Spain at the min, so a vpn might be an idea to try out, if it's not yet presenting itself there
