And this will be met with words like barbaric senseless etc and that's all. Till the next attack and more words of condemnation but there will be no action. So now I rather not give these any airtime no notoriety for them and personally speaking I don't want to know or care anymore because it makes me very angry to see how weak useless and even disabled the politicians of Europe are as they trip over each other trying to be all PC whilst their citizens are being slaughtered in the streets.

Le Front Nationale won't be useless. And their leader will be French President next year. Watch this space.

We've gone over this before. If the attackers are part of the latest wave of refugees or 2nd or 3rd or 20th generation doesn't matter. We have a huge problem already in Europe, allowing a million more in a year makes it worse. Stopping the immigration doesn't solve it, it just makes it a little less bad.

Stopping the immigration will lead to large camps of refugees stuck in countries that can't provide them with any sort of perspective or future - no jobs, no education, no adequate housing, difficult access to health care, etc.

We've sort of done this little experiment before, with Palestinians who fled to Lebanon in the 1940s and are stuck there to this day. I propose that this approach is not going to do anything to help make the region any more stable, and unless it becomes stable it will remain a threat to us in Europe.

    Not. Our. Problem.

If they want to apply for asylum, they should do so at offshore processing centres. Australia's coping fine.

Sweden, France, Germany, Belgium. Full of problems with Islam.

    Who said anything about Christians?

    Oh so your "civil armed war" will be;

Islam citizens v Rest of citizens?

    I see.

Why has Russia not had these sorts of attacks? It's something that crossed my mind given that they bombed the hell out of Syria they don't seem to have received the payback that other countries have.....

civil armed war is coming if this keeps up, it is just a matter of time before an armed group is created by citizens.[/quote]

I very much doubt it, I havent seen so much as a peaceful protest here yet. Nor did it seem to be an issue for many people ahead of the general election. Its a shame because I really dont want to see the 'social fabric' of our country break down in the same way that it has in parts of the continent. And whatever one might say about our politicians.... they're not mind-readers so unless people start getting more activist we risk sleep-walking into a clustermuck.

    Sarcasm, jacksie.

When you post something from RT that people find uncomfortable or that flies in the face of their argument they claim that RT is just a fabrication-factory. I was just wondering if the same holds true when RT reports on something or anything or everything else.

    I love these threads.

We humans have a habit of going into phases of mass destruction, generally self imposed to some extent or another. I see the cycle continuing the way the world is going lately. We just need a leader to drive the anger/hatred into one movement where logic goes out the window. We're making great progress :D

It's not the right time for puns.

Europe is turning into an utter sh!t hole due to the huge influx of Islamic followers who follow an ideology which is completely against Western values which includes freedom of speech and freedom of expression. Not to mention the hatred that ideology has for women's rights.

A civil armed war is coming if this keeps up, it is just a matter of time before an armed group is created by citizens.

Haven't you heard? We lost Dundalk this morning to Islamic extremists.

So we just accept it? Maybe some of them should stay in their region and work to stabilise their own region themselves. Mass exodus won't fix it either.

Very black and white aren't we.

The 1st thing we should do is understand. Understanding will help find a solution.

I find it amazing the lack of empathy for the hostages in this thread.Political correctness is gone mad,it's like you can't mention that a Muslim individual has done anything bad anymore. Maybe police should just give terrorists a "warning" not to kill somebody again,if they are caught in the act.

Where is logic going out the window. I think it's fairly well established that 18-30 yr old males, especially those who are poorly educated and non-professional are a very destructive demographic. They are behind most terror attacks and most violent crime in general. It stands to reason that someone should do something to make them a lesser risk to society.

    You're right.

Throughout history, people don’t realise they’re embarking on a route that will lead to large scale destruction until it's too late.

Really brave of these Daesh sympathisers to slice the throat of an 84 year old priest saying mass,it must have been so difficult to do
Yeah really brave, such an inspiration they are, what role models they are
May they rot in hell but that's not my decision

Yeah yeah I know, you want all 18-30 year old Islamic males interned.
I can see no possible drawback in that plan. :)

There was an ISIS attack in Kazakhstan a couple of weeks ago, and there's been a few in Chechnya and Dagestan that they are claiming too.

Not necessarily interned, just denied entry to the west and deport those present who are not either in higher education or working in meaningful professional jobs.

Well I can see huge drawback is letting them loose to wander the streets killing people.
If the freedom of a minority has to be curtailed for a few years to safegaurd the security of the majority, I can live with that.

Well my take on this is that the vast majority of terrorist incidents are committed by males in the 18-30 age bracket. In the hotspots like the mid east or areas like Molenbeek, I would favour to see all males in this demographic, unless gainfully employed or in education, detained indefinitely. Perhaps there may be treatments that can make them a lesser risk? I don't know.

Chilling to learn that an elderly & vulnerable French priest has been horrifically killed in a sacred place of worship & sanctuary. May the poor man RIP. The cowardly scum who did this, really couldn't have picked a softer target and if there is a Hell, hopefully there will be a special placed reserved for them.
