Yes, let's leave 22 million Syrians fleeing war to rot because of the actions of a few.

    Good idea!

Yet Angel Merkel still wants us all to take more Syrian Regugee's.

    Will they never learn??!!

Going by the frequency of attacks in the past week and there is likely more ahead Merkel will be forced to resign in the next few months. I hope Enda and Frances have the foresight to thoroughly vet anyone we do take in with background checks, psychological evaluation and counselling etc

Europe wide political instability is on the horizon. It's a f**king disaster and very worrying.

There are not 22m Syrians fleeing war.
And those that did fled to neighbouring states where they were safe.

That should have been the end of the matter..... but Mutti knew better.

And Syrians are a fraction of our cultural enrichers.

Think at this stage there should be a Terrorist/Violence forum set up.

Every second thread is of a similar nature and all the same type of posts keep appearing..:(

France must be surely one of the dangerous countries in the world right now, you'd want your head examined to go on a trip there

It is a big country, the problem is the fear as no one knows where it is safe.

No lets create a safe zone out in the middle east and protect them there until the war is over. There was no need to move all those people to Europe.

The notives are becoming pretty clear.

"The men shouted "Daesh" and cut the priest's throat before being "neutralised," police said."

How many pages will it take for someone to blame the social welfare system or housing..... instead of the blindingly obvious?

    Precisely.
If I knew there is only 1 poisoned cookie in a cookie jar I would bin them all.

Far from it. Many countries in the world where you have more chances of being killed/injured.

But in Europe and related to terrorist attacks, quite possibly.

Not even close, but sure you can believe what you want.

It's not the fact that there's genuine refugees wanting to escape warzones to safety. Its the fact that all these people with unknown criminal history or diseases are just being allowed walk freely into Europe. Let's not forget that their culture is incompatible with Western countries..

    Couldn't agree more

Lovely. When can we restart those gas chambers of good aul Adolf's? Might need to build a few new ones to fit 22 million in.

Took long enough to get to the Hitler comparison.

I was thinking of that yesterday, but then this is something on the minds of people. Happening to nations we share European citizenship with.
More people will see threads on AH and it is good for people to express their feelings on what is happening, as it does help to say what us in one's mind.
There would be less posts if elsewhere.

How much longer will this be allowed to go on, we need stricter knife control, 19 in Japan last night, more in France today, it's ridiculous that anybody can just walk into a shop and buy a knife, without any kind of background checks at all.
Muslims don't don't kill people, knives do!

Bit hard to find any other comparison if someone claims he'd "bin them all" for one bad cookie....

Bloody awful. I hope the injured nun recovers. And tragic for the parish.
How many pages will it take for someone to blame the social welfare system or housing..... instead of the blindingly obvious?

None. The arguments about previous attacks were that they were not religiously motivated (which indeed they were not). This is an ISIS attack. An actual ISIS attack.

There is a difference between saying "ah hang on a minute" when people are arguing random stuff and saying that ...what, ISIS doesn't exist?

    Y'know, a common sense medium.

Although god knows it's like there's a really malevolent full moon over Europe at the moment. Even the dogs outside were howling all night.*

*No, I am not blaming the moon.

Think the idea of 'binning' an entire race of people was the initial Hitler comparison

Page 4, post #46. I'm surprised it took this long.

Also to continue the cookie metaphor, why not just leave them in the jar where they came from?

Not hard at all. It is just a lazy, inappropriate, non-constructive answer, certainly not better than the post it was replying to.

The assassans more than likely suffered from depression or a mental illness and were bullied at school. Obviously nothing to do with the religion of peace.

Don't you dare compare anti immigration speak to the holocaust

There were no Jews running around cutting off people's heads or driving over kids with trucks. There were no rabi's in synagogues preaching for murder.

People are asking to stop immigration into the west, not for concentration camps.

This hyperbole drama is pathetic. The people who carried out these crimes have much more in common with the nazi's than anyone who wants it stopped.

You are excusing terrorists, insulting people and undermining the seriousness of the holocaust itself.
