Hard to see anything in the picture on the phone anyway.
But squawking is something Jays do a lot of. Is there a flash of blue and pinky brown on the bird?

There's a brown bird on the road in front of Tanko, looks like a female sparrowhawk as I can see a white/pale barred breast. I also find sparrowhawks very leggy if you compare them to other prey birds.

    Female sparrowhawk.

Hate those jfc plastic drinkers. Dry cows had it fecked down the field with ball valve and elbow broken on it. Tried to fix it up with out turning off the water which didn't work out well.

Contractors arrived here this morning after being booked for Thursday. Lads got broke up and had to wait for a part to come in from Denmark. Auld lad is like a briar heavy mist falling here all morning.

Judging by previous posts,I've a feeling it's a bad luck day for all. Mother went away with spare car seat so I've to drive to ohs work to collect car. 40mile round trip. Hardly worth putting Lilly into child minders.

    Wait about 14 days.

I won't be racing but I will definitely be knocking around the town for cool ones a few nights .
I've been out two or three nights of the week for the last few weeks ,there is a brilliant atmosphere around the place lately with the film fleadh, arts festival and now the races .

    Is that the right picture?

Edit: is it on the road?

Yeah, I'm afraid it is the right pic, it's not great. It's on the lane and going by Kovus pics I reckon it's a sparrowhawk.
