Just seen that JayKHunter's OSW has a Patreon (he didn't even post about it on boards)

    https://www.patreon.com/user?u=3585510

Congrats on the success, (achieving 1300% of your goal :P ).....hopefully can see a lot more episodes and more frequent content. Maybe OSW full time for bit ?

I only found the OSW Podcast / Videos this week and have been binging on them!

Thanks Sean! We're doing the Dungeon of Doom story arc at the moment that ends at Uncensored 96! (We made a trailer for it!) which'll take a couple of months to complete. We've never seen these PPVs either, it's so refreshing doing something halfway familiar but 'new'. We don't decide on a new arc until the last moment because it's so far away!

Cheers! I thought it might've been a bit cheeky plugging it here, even if there's a WWE Countdown review to sweeten the deal! It's been a surreal past week, wasn't expecting anywhere near the response, only starting to come around to it now! Seriously blown away by the support, it's a tremendous feeling. I'm hoping to bring out new episodes every 4-6 weeks. Every ep still takes 50-70 hours (sometimes over 100!) but this way I can spend more days per week on it :)

Thrilled to see it go so well for you guys Jay. Someday, when I'm not a poor pot noodle eating student, I'll be able to get me a What Bar!?

New Fall Brawl episode was great! Was it my imagination though or was there no What Bar!?

Cheers dude, It's a dream come true! Seriously, oh man getting to spend more time editing OSW is friggin' awesome. War Games would've taken weeks more to get done otherwise!

Good eyes! Yep, I cut the What Bar segment mostly for time and placement. The episode was stacked with the Top 10 and main event retrospectives, thought it hurt the pacing! Next time :P

Possibly my fav OSW ever that Fall Brawl, it's so good. I loved every second of it.

I'm listening to Colt Cabana's podcast. This week he has what's been described on your show before as a "big smelly mark" in the form of Terry Funk as his guest. There's a comment posted there (just the 1 as I write this) that has no relavence to what is going on in the conversation at the time but I can't help thinking it might be posted by some Nogger-brah.

No mention of Cooter Brown yet either but if he shows up in the comments too, it has to be done by an OSW fan for sure!

Ooh, I was able to get the Top 10 segment from the Fall Brawl episode onto YouTube! Getting to talk about all of these awesomely awful gimmicks was one of my favourite things to do ever! Especially JR's heel turn :p:pac:

Oh good, I never bothered to watch it this week. At least I'll be all caught up now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 116 ✭✭blackpotato

Aww. I can't watch this Summerslam anytime soon, I'm back in November 2015 still and there's too many shows available for me to ever catch up without skipping months of stuff! I've no doubt MexAmerica is over like cans of coke by now...

I did just see another What Bar shart in a crowd though, again, you could be well aware of it already but Main Event from early November last year, the Manchester one, during the opening match, and as I can't remember who is climbing the ring steps during their entrance, there for a second is a grown adult man wearing a What Bar shart for sure!

Lovely ! Something to watch later when I get home :):D
This is first time we'll have V1 and Mr.OOC talking about a current/recent PPV .
The last few recent ones were with that Matthew guy, so looking forward to having the triumverate talk about something current .
    I don't even watch/like wrestling since 2002 ish....that's how good your show is :P :D

Lots of FFWD material on RAW last week - same this week actually apart from the killer main event!

MexAmerica, wow that seems like an ice-age ago! Maybe because TNA did it years ago :p (Hernandez, Anarquia, Rosita, Sarita)

Cheers! OOC isn't on this show, as watching and recording has to be done on a tight schedule (as opposed to the main show). Really happy with how it turned out, def myself and V1's best show (he hasn't done a modern review since 2014)

Did yous ever mention on the Podcast why he always goes to the US ? I can't remember you lads saying what his job was....you said you are both doctors...but not his.

Anyways, -1 nogger point due to lack of OOC :P

I know I have seen a picture of the OSW crew somewhere and I did already know the above bolded bit but.... Now im imagining the two of them as Gallows & Anderson always searching for a cure to ringpostitus in between casts.

I should also mention this (because the thought only occurred to me just now), but given the brand split, are you going to cover both RAW and SmackDown the next time you do a current PPV review?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

Yo! Unlikely we'll cover split brand PPVs (eg Backlash or Clash of Champions) but stick to the big ones which are dual-branded (Rumble, Mania etc)

I think I just got what you meant - it depends when we can record. This time around it would've been nice to chat about SD too instead of just Raw afterwards but WWE will prob stop caring about it in a few months!

In any case WWE are sure making it hard to swallow this much product in a short time frame without having to review it too! We covered 9.5 hours in 1.5!

It's offline for the moment - ours as well as 290,000 WWE videos from YouTube gone in an instant! Same thing happened before the Network UK launch, we'll reply, reinstate, reclaim! Already onto YouTube and WWE's lawyers. It'll be back up before the end of the month, just like last time :)

ALL of our episodes are still on the website! http://OSWreview.com/episodes :)

Yeah, I saw the Patreon post a bit after I posted here. Glad you'll get back on anyway, I like being able to stick the playlist on youtube and just listen to you lads having a bit of fun reviewing the shows.

I just found your WCW World War 3 1995, I'm going to watch it now or tomorrow or both.
I have met quite a few wrestling fans in work recently and also I understand the Rated R Superstar is in Ireland currently filming on season 5 of Vikings and I'm hopeing to meet him there sometime soon with any luck. I always try to tell anyone who will listen to check OSW Review and man, I'm so happy right now to find out there's a new show up. I was in Reads tonight and saw Nitro in the background on Sky and of course I got sucked in, Luger and DDP vs The Outsiders...The timing of finding this episode means you're the man Jay Hunter!

I think MexAmerica is finished in my December 2015 world of being way behind current wrestling (I still have a semi-reasonable idea whats going on really in Oct 2016) It's League Of Nations all the way for me for a while at least, I'm days away from TLC 2015 but OSW and WCW World War 3 1995 comes 1st!

The thing I really wanna catch up on is The whole Broken Matt Hardy TNA stuff, I've heard him in character on 2 podcasts and I love it but tonight it's good to see some proper old stuff!

Cheers dude! Hassling someone you know to watch is us the nicest thing you can do :) Is Edge filming up North?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 116 ✭✭blackpotato

Ah Vikings is filmed all over Wicklow, GOT is up north and a lot of the guys who work as extras on the Vikings show also work on the other GOT show as Wildlings. I've still not met Mr Copeland just yet but other guys on the show have said they bumped into him in Dun Laoighre during the Autumn.

Your old WCW show was so good, I loved it. I had recently read up on a lot of WW3 stuff so the timing of this was very cool. The more I learn about this Hogan fella, the less I think he's all that nice! ;)

Heh, I was watching a Twitch stream of WWE 2K17 earlier and one of the lads broke out the "What bar?!" when they were doing character creation. Got a good chuckle out of it cause I wasn't expecting it.
