I woulda said that was fairly accurate , still pickin up the odd crappy one here n there but as my level goes up getting more and more 100+ pokemon only level 6 now got the game working properly for the first time last night.

Im lvl 15 and while i still do see 10-20 cp every so often more often than not they are 150-300+

I twice got a 100+ but that was three days ago. If anything the ones I catch are getting worse since then. Between that and the tracking not working it's a bit pointless. Level 7 btw.

Anyone else experiencing freezing when hatching an egg? Game just froze on me while an egg was hatching. Re-started, egg gone and no new Pokemon. 10k egg, spent the last 2 nights hatching this fúcker. Furious isn't the word!

I'm level 10 and I would say 60% of the wild pokemon I see are >100cp. Out at lunch I caught a 465cp Hypno though so I suppose it swings both ways

EDIT: Don't go running off and trying this if you don't know how to develop on Linux machines. A certain amount of tech know-how is needed for this and you can get your account banned for doing it. They recommend using a dummy account.

So I was messing around in work today and stumbled upon the 'pokemongodev' subreddit. There's a couple of tools there that can basically query the servers to see what 'mons are around you. I ran one of the tools and queried Dublin City Centre. Now I only have a snapshot of what is available at the time I queried the server so it is not conclusive as to when and where they will show up. Here's a few things I can confirm about Dublin city:

1. Drowzees, pidgeys and rattatas are all over the city. There's loads of spearows too. This is from Drumcondra all the way to Rathgar btw.
2. Vulpix in Belgrave Square
3. Ryhorn in Eamon Ceannt Park at the Clogher Road entrance.
4. Defo loads of Magmars around and in Merrion Square.
5. Both canals seem to have more water types along them than the river Liffey does. Especially the Grand Canal. I'd recommend a walk along that for some.

Other than that, it's mostly common stuff. I haven't seen anything especially rare. I'll try compile a list over time and see if I can spot anything especially rare. I'll just have to keep taking snapshots throughout the day and night and see how it differs.

I've lost numerous pokeballs when the game crashes just as you've snared a Pokemon. So I'd believe it about the egg.

Yeah, has happened to me twice with eggs. Froze on the "Oh?" screen, went looking in my Pokemon/journal after restart but nothing new, both were feckin 10k eggs too

This gym business is a complete sack. Theres a gym with a 200 CP Pokemon guarding it. Grand you say I'll have a go. Barely beat it with a 380 CP gulbat and then this prick unicorn comes out and annihilates my whole stack in five seconds. Could they not put the CP of the best enemy on the gym so you know not to waste your time. All that for 100 XP...

They do. I'm able to see what Pokemon are in the gyms in my general area even when they're out of range.

Went on my first proper search today...levelled up to lvl 5 and a Hitmonlee came up on my nearby but I couldn't manage to find it

have the bug where all Pokemon are 3 steps away..managed to catch a psyduck today though, so that's pretty good.

Didn't realise this was a bug! It's been happening to me for a while now too, I opened the game in my flat just now and all nearby pokemon were 3 steps away but two spawned literally on top of me right after I checked.

Any way to fix this?

if you're experiencing the incense bug where it doesn't work at all, set your phone clock to network time in your phone settings.

maybe this is commonly known, but i only just found it out now. wasted 2 incenses cause of it.

Mine is set to network time but the incense still didn't work for me.

I'm wondering is the distance covered more down to be measured by accelerometer in your phone and not your GPS. This would explain people not gaining distance while cycling and driving.
