Nah he just got thru it. Edgar landed a good few times. If Conor connects even for half that its lights out for Aldo

Edgar landed a good few times but he abandoned the take down after Aldo threw him around like a ragdoll. Pretty sure Frankie's face was the one mangled as well.

Also on a personal note I'm torn because I'm so excited about getting to see Anderson silva fight live but then slightly sad because I think DC will murder him inside 1 round

That was an absolute clinic from Aldo, superb performance. Frankie is unbelievable and was made to look like a schoolboy tonight, Aldo may not have been spectacular in terms of getting the finish but everything else about that performance was better then I have seen from him in years.

Nullfiying Frankies offence is a tough thing to do, and with ease!

Looking forward to the McGregor/Aldo rematch now, looking like a much more focused Jose which could make it interesting, still gotta have Conor a big favourite obviously

It's all well and good Aldo doing Edgar who was best buddies with him, it's a different ball game when McGregor starts eating away at him for months and months.

Impressive performance from Jose no doubt but you'd have to doubt his capability of keeping his emotions in check after the last time.

More likely than Conor going back down I reckon.

I gave Frankie the first two.

    Aldo the last three.

I'll watch it again fully sober tomorrow though.

Frankie didn't land anything hard enough to get Aldos respect.

Aldo struck me as a point fighter there. Seemed unable or didn't want to go for a kill.

I would have been more afraid of Frankies workrate and Takedown attempts if he fought Conor. Anything can happen but I would be confident Conor beats Aldo again.

They're really dragging Jones through the mud with this promo.

I really can't see how Conor will fight again at 145. In order to do so he will have to lose quite a bit of muscle mass, and there is nothing more soul destroying than trying to lose muscle mass, and the time period in which he will have to do it will have to be pretty lengthy.

Given the amount of chances he's screwed up, he deserves it. I want to see him back, but he deserves the same treatment other cheats get

Really disappointed with Frankie in that fight. I was hoping he would set up the MSG face off that I think everyone wanted.

I don't think Jose showed anything for Conor to be worried about either. Yes he has fast hands but I don't think there is any power behind his punches to threaten Conor.

He's hardly like a body builder,no bother to him he will have extra time to rehydrate too so he could be even bigger in the cage, its very possible him making the weight hes never missed it once.

The size difference here is going to be ridiculous.

There was never a chance of a fight breaking out there. What a let down. Feel bad for Edgar, he just wanted a fight, Aldo just wanted to score points to get a go at McGregor again... He's already lost that fight, obsessed (possibly like McGregor is with Diaz)

You have no idea if he's actually cheated, what the pop or the levels.
