We'll see how saddened and upset DC truly is when he starts gloating about it "Jon Jones tries to kill unborn babies, Jon Jones the criminal, Jon Jones the coke head and NOW....Jon Jones the juicer" is along the lines of what I would expct from him.

Bisping still tweeting that he is ready :pac: and Mousasi RTing every msg that he should be the replacement

Gutted! Just watched the "It's Tiiiiiime!" hype machine doc on BT last night. Even the missus was all interested in the DC JJ story. Boom!

Lesner v Hunt as main now? Surely Aldo v Edgar is a bigger UFC fight, and at least has a "fake" belt on the line. Ugh. Amazing lineup still, but this is a massive humiliation, disappointment and let down for all involved.

Yeah, its fairly ridiculous that a 3 round exhibition fight gets main over a title fight and an interim title fight.

Complains of the possible damage Jones could do if he was on PED's.

Is happy Brock is there to fill headline slot.

    Not sure if serious....

Never said I was happy Brock was on there, I meant from UFC point of view for sales. I will be watching live however for me other fights are far more important than Brock, however it will sell ppvs for ufc.

I didn't even know who Lesner was until he was announced. I know money talks, and he was a champ, but Mark Hunt? I love the guy, he is a legend, but he was 3rd on the bill on a very weak 193, suddenly he is top billing?

I watched the presser just there and dana white was pretty annoyed if you look at him while jeff novitzky is reading out the news.

white goes on to say, if something pops, it's tested and tested and they run it until they're sure. be damn sure, that's no protein shake we're talking about, he's juiced alright. wouldnt be surprised if he was motivated by the bad comments on his last fight against OSP.

    I hate jones, he's a piece of **** really.

If you look at the unstoppable tour, all the fans booed and heckled Cormier and they applauded and cheered Jones, despite him being a dirtbag, this really got in cormiers head. Cormier contantly told fans, jones is a selfish, fake piece of **** who only cares about himself!!

Now how can any real MMA fan argue with that??? as a Fan, that's a right kick in the bollox for us all. So it seems Yes, he can gloat all he likes, cormier is correct 100%... Jones is a walking Egomaniac **** up of the highest order.

wonder will those same fans be cheering him now!! it seems bad behavior in the USA is something to be proud of nowadays!!

It's not Mark Hunt's fault. It's still an interesting fight. "What will Brock be like having spent so long out of the cage"?... "Can Mark Hunt really sustain another title challenge?"

I don't think it's an interesting main event but an interesting fight for sure.

I'd have liked to see them bump Tate/Nunes as main event. An all female fight headlining a big show like that would show how far they've come since UFC 100.

    No.

    No.

Would you care to offer an explanation as to why you think differently?

God no, I have zero interest in Tate/Nunes. It's below even Sage's return in my wish list of the fights that night. I'm all for equality, and have really tried to get into the female fights, but most of the ones I watched have been snore fests. I'm looking forward to JoJo and Claudia just cos of the TUF build up, but beyond that, yawn.

Edgar Aldo seems light years above everything else. It's a rematch, both former champs, a belt on the line, 5 rounds. No brainer IMO.

Just remembered, Jones tweeted yesterday how glad he was back partnered with Everalst (after they dropped him for previous shenanigans). This affects so many people. Can't wait to hear what he says at press conference today at 4.30pm our time. I wonder will he just come out and admit it.

I'm expecting a faux apology. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Jones was saying at the presser it's been a long year for him, well just got a hell of lot longer.

Yeah I just don't think that fight should be anywhere near main for the biggest UFC in history. Not only do I think the fight itself wouldnt deliver, I don't think either of them are a big draw.

Will Jones be the first ever to be stripped of two belts? In consecutive years too

I was most excited for aldo/edgar and then jones cormier but to be fair, the card is still brilliant and those under stated matches like Lauzon v Sanchez and hendricks v gastelum cold be little nuggets.

So this presser at 4.30pm our time, that's defo on the cards?

I'm expecting him to stand his ground saying he is innocent and the world is against him in a giant scam run by haters.

He was third on the 193 behind two title fights. How is that weak?

193 as a whole, not a great lineup IMO. 3rd, behind 2 female fights. Weak. Considering too he was "at home". And then to go top billing in their "biggest event ever"? No. Just no.

He's not the main draw though. Lesnar is the main draw in that fight. Everyone knows what Hunt is capable of. No one is sure what Lesnar (and credit where credit is due, he is the biggest star UFC ever had) can do after 6 years, will he be sloppy? Or now that he is no longer ill will be the freak of nature he was before.

I didn't even know who Lesner was until he was announced.

Jesus you must not be watching ufc for long. He main evented 100 which drew a still record 1.6m buys.
Blatantly obvious ufc would put him on last as he's the big draw now like he was at the press conference.
Especially with Jones letting himself down (sooner than expected). If Holm was taking on Tate I'd say that might get the slot & Jose vs Edgar is an interim fight.
Hope Cormier gets another fight but if Jones goes down for that violation I doubt we'll ever see that fight again. 40 year old DC vs a returning after 2 years out Jones doesn't appeal to me

2 years, so, yeah, I'm new to the sport.

A guy who hasn't fought in..........4 years, getting top billing? Yes, money talks, but wrongly IMO.

To those wondering why Brock-Hunt is headlining over title fights, it's the same reason why Conor-Nate headlined over a title fight at 196 - money. How much PPV buys do you think "UFC 200 - Tate vs Nunes" would sell? The first Aldo - Frankie fight did 330k buys.

This was built to be the UFC's biggest event ever and they need the star power at the top of the bill to get the buys, especially now that DC vs Jones is off. There's alot of interesting fights still on the card but they need Brock's name more than ever to bring the buys in. If he wasn't on the card, it would be a disaster PPV-wise.

Gus to step up and fly over?

Possible. Loads of fighters have thrown their name in, Gus, Bisping, Mosasi, Hall so who knows?

Just finished watching the press conf. Did anyone notice DW's possible freudian slip? He says Joe Silva had been getting texts already asking for a fight and twice says "Mousasi" before going "Oh i dunno why I said Mousasi, I meant DC" :pac: I wonder if thats why he wants or who maybe Silva suggested?
