    If it turns out that this is Jones' screw up I wouldn't be so sure of that. The media will tear him apart, Dana will have egg on his face for preaching how he's been a changed man and he's effectively ruined the biggest main event, of the biggest show in the company's history. I can see the UFC being a tad bitter about this.

    If the UFC are going to be bitter about it and punish him they won't cut him, they'll just give him spaced out bullsh*t fights on fightpass cards until his contract is up to hurt his earnings.

    Why would it violate his parole?
    There's plenty of legal substances he could get popped for on the USADA list.

    We don't know what it is, he could get a six month ban, he could get two years. Either way he's staying contracted to the UFC.

    there are over the counter medications on the banned list, it wont violate his probation if its not some kind of recreational or illegal drug

    Will have to sit tight and see what it was for.

    If its recreational then he could be in trouble with his parole. If it is PED then he could get a 2 year ban, and that would pretty much seal his fate.

    I've a weird feeling it's going to be something stupid like clenbuterol, which a lot of people in high end sports are popping for extremely low levels of metabolites of and there's a massive belief in the sporting world that almost all of them are false positives.

    I'm not sure I'd agree hat failing for Clenbuterol is something stupid.
    I mean, it's a completely verified PED. It's cheap and easy to get.

    Maybe some of them are false posivites, but I don't buy that story from most. Wasn't that Contador's excuse?
    It's just as likely that the low levels are down to the fact it can clear your system in a day.
