    Question:
Does Ayra know about Rickon and Bran "being killed by Theon"? Would Theon be on her list?

No doubt word of Ramsay killing Rickon before the BOTB would quell any theories of Theon doing it.
Plus, it wouldn't really make sense for that to happen, Theon's story has moved on quiet a bit, and you'd assume Arya is Winterfell bound when she gets word Jon & Sansa are there.

You could say he's not quite wight in the head!!!!

That makes sense, and why the WW and Night King could be near the wall in series one and have yet to cross it.

If anything GoT is getting more interesting as it progresses.

BTW, does this mean Benjen is dead?!? If so why is he not under control of the Night King?
Benjen told Bran he was stabbed through the heart with dragonglass, that was how the walkers were created by the cof.
That's what makes him different to an ordinary wight

I know she didn't like him but wasn't he a Lannister supporter all through 6 seasons?

And why the hell is she even Queen? She was the old Kings mother, nothing else

Didn't she allude to him having possibly fiddled with her when she was young. If not fiddling with, being a creepy lech.

It didn't matter to her because he didn't agree with her crazy notions, unlike Qyburne

It's the line of succession working backwards. All Robert Baratheon's children (legitimate as far as most are concerned) are now dead. None of them had any children. Robert's brothers are both dead, again with no children.

Cersei is basically the only person left in the line of succession from since Robert took the throne. Plus I'm sure everyone knows Cersei was responsible for the death of pretty much everyone else, so no-one is going to pipe up and say "Well, Robert does have a male cousin who is still alive..."

At what point does a monarch's spouse become part of the line of succession?

She's queen because there was nobody else in KL to oppose her, which annoys me a bit as the common people have been show to have completely rejected her.

She whispers, "His name is ... If Robert finds out he'll kill him. You know he will. You have to protect him. Promise me Ned. Promise me.".
I'm not certain but I think she said "His name is Rhaegar"

Not to mention the families of those that died in the sept. I'm sure they'll throw their lot in with anyone who opposes her

When there is no one else on the line of succession. Robert's children are all dead (with no heirs), and his brothers are all dead (with no heirs). Even the Queen's brother and father are both dead now. They could possibly go further back into Robert's family and find an uncle or cousin, or even another Lannister cousin or something, but like you say, she's also Queen because there's no one to oppose her.

That's the only reason she's been able to crown herself. She has no right to the throne.

That's probably one reason to get rid of Pycelle as well as Kevan Lannister and Mace Tyrell. As members of the small council they could speak out against her but as it is as long as she acts legitimate then a lot of people will put up with her. Qyburn will see to that.

didnt like margerys death for obvious reasons. :)

Well at least he managed to get one on the house from his ..ahem companion.

    Ditto for Margery.

Great to see the sparrow get his mother's mercy.

Great score to a great episode.

Looks like Cersei invoked the "you snooze, you lose" article of Westerosi succession law. But as Tommen's nearest legitimate male kin he would normally be next in line.

I usually determine the quality of an episode of GOT by my emotional reaction to what's going on in front of me. Well.... that earned at least four "wows" from me, and I even found myself welling up twice (Davos' confrontation of Melisandre and the pledge to to King of the north.....).The best episode to date in my opinion. Stunning.

I know there was a bit of pre-empting as regards to some of the plots that revealed in the episode (R+A=J/wild-fire), but that didn't take away from the overall drama of the occasion. Could have easily passed off as a film in itself.

The use of the score in the opening Kings Landing scenes was the best use of music I have seen in a TV show since the Leftovers. Simply beautiful and chilling at the same time.

This is the point. The wall is only an obstruction while it's there.

This is the whole point of a wall to hold things behind it, block your enemies and random strangers from invading your land.

Great episode loved every minute of it 9even if some people made very good guesses which turned out to be true -though some were years in the making- I only have myself to blame so I will probably read less theories about next season). I liked the Jon reveal the most (because yay finally also I guess Dany) but Kings landing was amazing great special effects, music and atmosphere, I loved how creepy Cersei's coronation and the murder of lancel was.

Obviously that's the definition of a wall. My point of that it would be a bit thick to have the wall be a central tenet of five books and six seasons of a TV show if the Big Bad can just use a bit of trickery to walk through it.

    Jon "The White Wolf" Snow.

Yet his white wolf is nowhere to be seen! I can understand not putting him in the battle and I'm glad they didn't but the image of Jon sitting at the head of Winterfell's court with Ghost by his side would've been so cool.

    He has no claim.

Cersei's claim is as the wife / mother of previous kings, but it's a very weak claim.

Excellent episode. While the episodes vary in quality, a few of them really have surpassed what's possible in movies in my opinion.
Yeah, this season had some downs (and a notable dry spell leading into the last two episodes) but I was very happy with it all in all. I think we can all agree last season struggled, probably due to growing pains of having to diverge from the books significantly in bits, but I found this season a remarkable return to form. Missing some of the fine nuances of the early seasons, and yes there were a few forced moments, contrivences, etc to drive the plot forward and such, but overall I was very satisfied with how it played out, and especially the momentum things have gained at the end where both Dany and the White Walkers (albeit probably a little further behind) appearing in Westeros are right around the corner (until Dany realises her fleet took a wrong turn when they land in Yeen or Gogossos or some sh*t).

The last two episodes were. Just. F***ing...

From what i hear, The showrunners say it costs alot of $$$€€€€ to have him on screen, and from the last few episodes i think they may have used up the aul CGI budget :D
