Oh, great so there just a bloody Euro bandwagoner who doesn't have a ****ing clue what their on about.
well I'm not even on the bandwagon. I personally couldn't give a flying **** whether they win lose or draw. I was only watching it today while trying to drink myself out of a hangover.

Just wondering why someone would get so annoyed about a sport, tbh. Unless you are capable of doing better of course.

Oh I see your drunk, we'll let me sober you up.

Let me tell you a story.

We were playing a 5 a side indoor match a few weeks back, we were 2 up within 5 minutes but we ended up going down 7-4 with just 5 minutes left I was so pissed I was screaming at people on my team "you stupid ****ing wanker just kick the ****ing ball away from the box you thick" I kicked a player on the other team who tried to go past me and got a warning, I could have stopped him cleanly but I wanted to hurt him I was so pissed off.

Now hopefully you understand that football is more than "just a game".

Nah, it's still a game. You just acted like a child who was losing at a game.

Congrats on being a child still, i guess.

Slovakia seem to be underdogs going into this game and everyone beside them are presuming Germany will win. Germany looking the better team atm.

This thread was actually quite enjoyable for the past couple of weeks until a couple of ******s turned up and did what they're best at and spoiled it for everyone else and of course had to do it the day we were knocked out of the Euros. Well done lads, ye've surpassed yourselves.

The problem with 5 a side is that there's always one arsehole taking it way too seriously an wrecking the buzz for everyone else.

I'm disappointed to see the Irish team head out of the tournament. They are a limited bunch of players, but did show heart and conviction. Brawn will only get you so far though.

Compare and contrast them with the team I will now support for the rest of the tournament, Germany. Efficient, controlled, extremely well drilled and with that ruthless clinical streak in attack that makes them so formidable in every tournament they enter.

The German football team are a reflection of the German people as a whole. Perhaps the Irish team reflect the Irish people as a whole. I won't go there as that might be considered controversial.

    Surprise surprise!

I only caught the 2nd half and thought you were simply outclassed by the French. No disgrace in losing to the hosts though.

Still a bit deflated about Norn iron losing to Wales last night. Thought Wales looked very ordinary and overall NI probably looked the better side.

Our problem is getting goals though and we don't have anyone that can turn games unfortunately. I can't see Wales lasting much longer if they play like that again.

Totally understood if you walked in just then.

Two different teams walked onto the pitch after half time. Such a pity.

No disgrace though. We were 9/1 to beat France yesterday. We had some missed chances, we had some shocking passes, but look, we don't have the field of players that France does and like you said, we were indeed outclassed. Taking all that into account. 2-1 was a pretty good result. It's such a pity we couldn't have held out but that's what happens when an older, less valuable team take to the pitch. We have to remember where we stand in all of this, and we certainly can't be ashamed of our team.

I was disappointed yesterday for NI, I would have really liked to see them through, but I was also happy for Gareth Bale.

No, just glib. But hey, if you want to consider yourself a brawny, limited but spirited person (being Irish and all), go ahead. ;)

Wales to meet Belgium who're playing good tonight (or maybe Hungary are having an off night)

We're out unless we get enough people to sign the petition.

Then UEFA have to discuss replaying the match.
There's a better chance of John Delaney getting a few million o ut of UEFA... Oh wait.

Just saw a piece on the NI news that showed wes hoolihan hugging a black French player. Is wes really small or was that French player just a tank.

    He's tiny yeah.
I still can't shake the sad feeling that we're out of the tourney. It was a great 2 weeks though :(

Getting drawn against the hosts was never going to be easy for youse. The French have just too many quality players. Plus it must have been hot today as the Irish players were visibly wilting by the looks of it.

As an NI fan I originally just wanted NI to go out and give Wales a game. As it turned out I genuinely thought we looked a better side throughout and was very disappointed when Macauley had the og. (I think if he had left it the Welsh guy would have put it in anyway.)

I thought NI were complete rubbish against Poland and Germany (the Germany game could have ended 6-0 on another night) but did well against Ukraine and Wales.

I think ze Germans will be hard to beat though I have Belgium in the sweepstake so hope they can do it.

Good to see both sets of Irish fans seeming to get on well. I hope I don't have to wait another 30 years for NI to reach a major finals. Though it wouldn't surprise me.

Personally I think it's awful, but it's basically a copy of the Belgian national cycling jersey

With 24 teams in it now, you really have to be either quite unlucky or really **** not to qualify for the Euro's now....at least once in 8 or 12 years.

This is the last time there's a host nation as such too. So there'll be games quite close to home in the next one's too!
