How many sources would you like?
"was mateen gay" gets 4 million matches. The Guardian. The Telegraph. The Independent. Take your pick really.
When do we graduate from "unreliable" to "conspiracy" on this I wonder or are we already there?

    You're having a laugh right?

Just in case you're not. Google search and News Media are not sources.

Edit: Some funny sh*t going on in this thread. Someone actually thinks that a high google search result count is a source. Facepalm.

I gave the number AND told you which newspapers are reporting Mateen was gay. You can even read some of them if you want. Sure, you can go ahead and pretend I said the Google match count was the only thing in my post, but it's right up above. Everyone can see you're lying. Why bother?
So, to jump straight to the endgame: anything short of a timestamped HD video of Mateen having gay sex will be deemed "unreliable" and/or "conspiracy", right?

A video has surfaced with Omar Mateen being secretly filmed in a video about the BP oil spill.

The Huffington Post "Huffpost Queer Voices" had a video on it's F/B live feed page an hour ago of young LGBTQIA Muslim discussing identity politics and community in the wake of Orlando. Unfortunately, I can't find a link. THP has replaced it with a post about DT, complete with his photo, and his birthday today. I had the horrible thought THP may have been hacked.

Don't lie. You said "How many sources would you like?" then "cited" the google and those newspapers.
Once again. Newspapers and Google are not sources!

The newspapers I LISTED all contain stories naming their sources. It most certainly was NOT just a Google match number. Why are you embarrassing yourself by lying here when everybody can see the list of newspapers above in my post?
Once more: have you read any of them?

So now you're saying that the newspapers contain the sources.

Should've said so in the first place instead of making a fool of yourself.

How is this man typing with his hands covering his eyes, fingers in his ears, while rocking back and forth humming really loudly in case reality gets in? Is this some foot based input device? Interesting.

Ah, so NOW you finally admit my post WASN'T just a Google search count. Weird it took this long, eh?
So, for the third time: have you read any story in any newspaper about this?

He has a point though? What are the sources at the minute? His ex wife who said he spent to much time in front of the mirror, the club patrons where the club management have said he wasn't a customer.

I'm very much not saying he definitely wasn't gay but with the news cycle running so fast in comparison to definitive information coming out it is worth asking what the actual sources are.

Since you also are unable to comprehend, I'll break it down for you.

If you cannot even understand that, then I can't help either of ye.

    Sorry.

Where's your source there was any massacre at all? Did you phone the Orlando PD?
Don't need your help either thanks all the same.

Don't need your help either thanks all the same.

The sources that there was a massacre are:
Multiple reporters who were on the scene.
    Multiple Eyewitnesses.
    Police reports.
    FBI reports.

When an incident has a significant amount of reporters all saying the same thing then it can be established that the report is reliable.

The same police that are investigating his usage of gay oriented social media?
The same multiple reporters from multiple newspapers who are saying he was gay?
The same multiple eyewitnesses who say he was gay?
I guess we only have to wait for the FBI now for the full house.

(try The Guardian's article "Omar Mateen's interest in gay men makes this no ordinary act of terrorism" for video and a link to his ex-wife saying she think he might have been gay.

The guy referenced media in the exact same way when twisting things around to his own viewpoint just a few posts back. It was fine then when it could be referenced to back his crap. One minute it's fine. Then somebody dares to point out something else and suddenly oh no!

Now all of a sudden there's deliberate misrepresentation of another posters obvious point because the point made doesn't twist so easy.

The obtuseness coupled with the inability to comprehend the cognitive dissonance inherent in his references vs. The references of others would indicate that any point possibly made is aimed squarely back at him. Which makes the post pointless.

But he won't comprehend this. Because selective comprehension is hugely important when angle grinding.

The sequence of events is important because as was stated earlier the reporting cycle is fast.

    1) The guardian initially carried a report that there is/are statement/s that Omar was spotted at the club.
    2) There were also reports about some gays that said Omar is on grindr and jack'd.

The guardian later added that the spokesperson of the club denies that Omar attended the venue.
A representative from Jack'd reported that Omar did not have a profile.

I'm inclined to believe these two sources, who are both representatives of their respective establishments rather than some random patrons of the club.

Ah right, so those other guys who go to the club are liars. Gotcha. I wonder what these gay guys are getting out of pretending a guy who massacres gays was gay himself? Care to have a guess yourself?
Now, how many club owners know all of their clients?

A gay said that Omar had a kick'd profile and creeped him out so he blocked him.
The kick'd representative stated that Omar did not have a profile.

In your opinion who is lying?

I read somewhere the other day, somebody saying it would be almost impossible to carry all that ammo and an AR, this hillbilly shows how it's done, easy!!!

He still has an RPG in his sock.....

Actually he said he could neither confirm nor deny whether he had a profile as he wasnt a paid membership.

Senate Democrats are filibustering in the US Senate right now.

They've been at it for eight hours. Talking about gun control in attempt to force the republican controlled senate to debate doing something about it which they've refused to do after each massacre thats happened lately.

That is true. As far as I can remember Guardian said what I wrote.

This report confrims what you said but it also exposes that the initial claim was a hoax. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2016/06/14/what-jackd/85862874/

So it can be safely said that the claim by the one club patron that he had a jack'd account is false.

Obviously to do such a thing someone would either have to be psychotic or psychopathic. Can gay people not be psychotic or psychopathic?
I'm not saying it's because they're "weak" or "girly" or anything like that. It's just that gay people tend to be more refined or less... "aggressive". Perfectly capable of standing ground, fighting or general violence but on this level? Being gay doesn't lend itself anything as easily to this kind of evil as other mindsets would.

What sort of a bizarre statement is that? I'm at a loss to understand how one's sexual preference can possibly affect one's basic concepts such as "respect for human life" or "General life rule: don't commit mass murder".

However, ten minutes after I typed the above, since I was waiting for a train and being the thorough sort of person I am, and willing to be corrected by the facts, I thought I'd look it up. Which turns out to be a terrible thing to do on the phone because pretty much all the studies directly related which are online tend to be found on websites which are conservative/anti-gay, and I can't really distinguish between those sponsored by the sites, and those neutral ones merely trumpeted by the sites when they match their agenda. About the only thing I have been able to source from what appears to be a neutral source (Schlesinger, Louis B. 2000. Serial Offenders: Current Thought, Recent Findings) is that homosexuals are disproportionately more likely in the us to be serial killers (14% estimated, vs 4% of the population who self-identify as such). It is also observed, however, that a common trend with serial killers has been emotional and difficult youths, or troubled sexual history, which I'm to understand is not an unreasonable background to a young homosexual man trying to find his way in a somewhat hostile environment, which is not inconsistent with my original position that in itself sexuality should have no correlation with propensity to violence.

So, since the topic has been opened, and I'm off the train, I'm open to other people with more time that I have to dig deeper into this line of thought, if anyone thinks it relevant.

Unlike the Democrats efforts to ban whatever firearms they can, reason and logic be-damned.
