Yep but none of those churches in USA as yet have any members that have gone into any gay bars and shot 100 gay people

Nor had any followers of Islam before today. The story is bad enough folks, 50 dead so far, why do ye have to big it up? Are ye all ten year olds or what?

I suggest you educate yourself in the difference between the specific point I made ie. ''Mass Shootings'' and 'all' homicides to which your link refers.

You do find people that go into a place full of innocent people because of X, Y or Z inane extremist reason and shoot them. Sometimes they do claim religious motivation, or anti-religious motivation, such as Anders Breivik. Their religion doesn't tend to come into it unless they're a minority religion though. It's understandable, everyone's afraid of Islamic terrorism, but Muslims as well as Christians can also be lone nuts. This guy's entire modus operendi screams far more of "lone nut".

Sadly, it looks like 20 people are dead and up to another 30 people critical, with their lives changed forever and all that will come of it is yet another screaming match about guns being taken away, red flag operations and how the evil Muslims should be thrown out, regardless of this guy being born and raised in the US.

This sort of thing will never stop so long as all the talking afterwards goes back into those tired, retreaded, circles.

The only way to deal with radical islam is by burning them. It's the only language they understand. There would be collateral damage but every innocent they kill is collateral damage too. Take their oil, and use it to burn them.

That sounds like a great idea

There is a case that the culture of the west and the culture of Islam do not mix well. This is considered racist by some.
In Europe and in the US, our biggest threat comes from the Islamic world.
Trump and anyone with a brain can see how the migrant crisis in Europe has been used by terrorists to sneak in terrorists for God knows what plan.
He sees the US facing a similar problem. Dare voice it and you are racist.

What happened today is our future, it is a shocking future we have to face.

Muslims make up not even 1% of the population and any kind of large groups of muslims has only been settled there about a tenth as long as christians and jews. Yet muslims do it first. It can be blamed on a lone wolf with mental problems but really the extremist teachings of the religion that is constantly producing these extremists needs to be addrressed and dealt with. If we keep saying islam is not a problem, its just the exceptional extremist minority, then people will keep dying at the hands of islamic extremism and nothing will ever change

he got annoyed seeing 2 guys kissing in Miami.

Quite a result from his annoyance.
He'd have conquered nations if he was actually angry!

Also, seeing 2 dudes kissing in Miami is like seeing rain in Ireland.... ubiquitous.

    The man is insane.

It's sickening watching people who were against equal marriage, and civil rights protection for LGBT people in the US, blame Islam for a culture of homophobia.

You could easily spot any Religion of Peace. Its extremist members would be extremely peaceful.

It is related to religion regardless. He was brought up by a religion that taught hatred of homosexuals .

Have to say I'm baffled by the response on Sky News to this terrorist attack. They usually run with these stories pretty well but they have spent the whole day talking about the Queen's birthday mostly ignoring this. The coverage on RT has been the most up to date from what ive been watching.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders are they worried about the effect this will have on Brexit vote

It would. I grew up in a strongly Christian family and was never taught to not accept homosexuals. It is stupid to not accept that Islamic families as a whole in home countries and in the west are brought up in much more conervative and extreme circumstances than western christian families.

This was the top story on Sky when I looked at their 4pm bulletin. Why are people still spouting about lack of coverage?

There's Christians bombing abortion clinics and places where gay people congregate. The bible says a man who lies with another man like he lies with a woman should be put to death. A huge amount of the American congress and senate, mostly Christian voted against equal rights protection for LGBT people.

Orlando shooter's father says son NOT motivated by religion but was “angry when he saw 2 men kissing in Miami.' (via @NBCNews)

It's a difficult one for some people. We have a strike against the gay agenda but it was done by a Muslim.

Anti gay views come from religion most of the time so it would be religious motivation regardless.

They spent most of the day concentrated on a birthday party.

Plenty on social media already suggesting likewise. It's very strange like I said they usually go overboard with this stuff but today sfa. They have affiliates all over the US also so they can't even claim they don't have the reporters to cover it.

But they never advocated violence, or look for laws to kill gay people which some Islamic countries have as their laws.

But do Christians go around stoning other Christians or beheading them as is normal in a significant amount of Muslim majority countries ?.

I've been watching the news networks since this morning when it became obvious this was a massive attack and RT, CNN, Al Jazerra etc... have had rolling coverage with sky spending the day covering the Royals. Yes they are on it now as the headline on the hour but nothing like the usual coverage.

There are hundreds of Mulsim terrorist attacks for every Christian one: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents,_January–June_2016

Every other year looks the same

You sound disappointed the shooter wasn't white.
Have you checked the overall murder rates via firearm by race?
The heinous, evil white devil isn't the only person killing people over there. Not by a loooooong shot actually

The proposed US/Mexican border wall...it should be remembered too that people associated with ISIS were arrested in central America, they were planning on crossing into the US over the porous Mexican border.
