what happens to Carlow in the summer? is it like the weekends, ie everything shuts down after 5pm on friday and doesnt reopen til 8pm sunday? i might have to stay down here against my will & put up with the boredom. I hate carlow!! (unless im drunk). actually, carlow needs more clubs!! the foundrys gettin old and the edge is.....is it stil open? do u know what the college needs? more entertainment in the canteen and barrow centre n stuff! last year there was better stuff, like more comedians and hypnotists. they even had a band playin in the barrow centre. who got entertainment officer this year? i missed the elections coz i didnt give a SHlT about them. does anyone think that their 1st year in it carlow was more fun than 2nd year? and what ever happened to the whole pub on campus thing? is that what they're buildin over by the secondary school? we need more drunk people on campus. also, people should put flyers up in the canteen when they're having house parties so i know about them, after all, the more the merrier etc. although, if i think its borin here, what about the wexford campus!!! they're probably worse off!! haha i feel better now. i've a headache!

he has a point about the events though. there was not that much and it was not that good. Some was good and all but there could have been a lot more.

Also ITC is missing a area to relax. most colleges have an area where ppl can sit down on benches or couches and just yap. the canteen is way to noisy and the chairs are not very confertable. They could convert the ivy room into a chill room or someinc

As with the general election, if you don't vote you lose your right to complain. Don't go around bitching about this and about that, get off you ass and do something about it.
Carlow is great. It has everything a person needs. Maybe if you had some friends to drink with instead of bitching you might have a good time.

i stayed down in Carlow last summer was pretty cool, The town is a totally different place though and u have to get to know the "natives" if u wanna enjoy it,
I hate Dublin though it sucks and in comparison I love Carlow, everyhting nearby everybodys within 20 minutes of each other, If only there were jobs there....:)

same as dublin, just get a bus. few mins later ur in town and ur suckin diesel. or u can go to the square, liffey valley, blanchardstown...
anyway, back to the college, tom, i did vote, i voted for the ppl who i thought could make it More fun. although i didnt go out of my way to get to know each candidate like i did last year. I still think carlow needs more nightclubs and more canteen stuff at least.
