St. Marks is in Pearse st. Just a quick stroll from Westland Road Dart Station.

Exit the dart station turn left on to Pearse st.. Turn left again, heading towards town, (with Trinity College on the Left.) in front of you will be the Dart bridge, St Marks is on the Left...

    Enjoy...

Very glad to hear you're a future journalist. We need some Christian journalists, and that's for sure. You look like a nice person. I will be praying for you. Also, I heard good things about your church in Cabinteely.

Depending on what you are looking for, there is a Catholic Church with masses each day in Castaheaney & Littlepace next to the Spar, there is a large Nigerian Fellowship church that meets on the Damastown Industrial Estate near IBM, & there is a Church of Ireland church in Clonsilla opposite the train station.
I go to Dublin West Community Church. It's been around since 1990 and now has an office in Blanch Village. We meet during the week around the Blanch area and have a group in Clonee on Thursday nights, and on Sundays our main gathering together is in Castleknock Community Centre , Laurel Lodge at 11am. Office no is 640 5678. I am really, overtly biased to DWCC since I have found it to be inspiring for my daily journey with God but I hope you find somewhere that nourishes your soul in that lot. Most of them have info on the web. if you do a bit of digging around. God bless.

excuse the website. It is going to be updated in the next few months I hear.

There seems to have been only one Catholic post so far. If there are any readers who have been turned off by the emptiness of many Catholic Masses, can I suggest that a bit of Latin might help them to discover why it's different and, spritually, so overwhelming? Full list at http://www.latinmassireland.org/ (website of the Latin Mass Society of Ireland). But if you live in Dublin and want to see it at its most beautiful, start with St Audoen's on Sunday morning.

However if you live in the south-east, or if you're coming to Wexford for your holidays, please have a look at http://www.faithapostolate.ie.

Paulos, while I am a strong advocate of going to church in your local community, a ten minute train journey from Clonsilla station takes you to Maynooth, which has a very vibrant Christian community at Maynooth Community Church.

With regard to a recent post I wanted to let the boards know that DWCC is going to be meeting in a new location from Sunday 26th November 06.
Instead of gathering at Laurel Lodge Community Centre, we will meet together at 11am each Sunday in Castaheaney Community Centre.
    Directions as follows:

    Coming via the M50:
Leave the M50 at Junction 6, N3 exit, signposted Cavan, Navan heading north.
Go through the next roundabout, (Blanchardstown village) staying on the dual carriageway.
Continue for about two miles past the two Blanchardstown Centre exits, at the next exit, sign posted Dunboyne and Clonee, leave the dual carriageway. At the top of the ramp turn left at traffic lights into the Housing development and go left at the first roundabout at bottom of hill.
Continue on past the community shopping centre on the left and take the left turn at the next roundabout into the school and community centre campus.

Coming from Lucan via Clonee village:
If you know the way to Clonee then come through village towards Dublin and when you get to Traffic lights on Castaheany Bridge (left takes you over the N3) take the right into Housing development and go left at the first roundabout at bottom of hill.
Continue on past the community shopping centre on the left take the left turn at the next roundabout into the school and community centre campus.

    Thanks

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good church?
I have recently come back to Christianity after about five years and am fairly clueless now.
I used to be Catholic but now am simply"Christian" so I would not feel comfortable attending Catholic services .
I looked into the Grace bible fellowship but I heard it was actually Baptist? If so, that won`t suit me as Im not Baptist either.
Its hard to decide where to go so any insight would be welcome. Also , Im 23, so somewhere with a somewhat youngish congregation would be preferable.

    All advice welcome.
