Timber Frame Houses

I'm building a house soon and I was wondering if anyone here has built a timber frame house or has one. I basically know what the pros and cons are, but I'm looking for peoples own experiences, like would they go though it all over again

IJM was the company who he said that they're quality was below average. He has worked quite a few once off TF houses and he recommended a local builders providers for the supply of the timber frame. I never heard of that before, builders providers supplying timber frame? They're probably just the local agent for some main stream crowd.

BTW, I did get a quote from Century Homes (all the quotes I got so far are more or less around the price). What did you think of them. Any horror stories?
