Ok im stealing ph3nom`s idea here.
What was the worst metal/rock album you ever bought.

Mine was not Twisted sister like in a previous post but an album by a Japenese metal band called VOW-WOW.
UTTER SH**E.CRAP-NOT ENOUGH WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW BAD IT WAS.
And I Paid full whack for it.Still have it though.

    good bands gone bad.

Jesus and Mary Chain - Barbed Wire Kisses - B. Sides...
    BLUR - Bustin and Dronin
Beautiful South - Paiting It Red (not "rock" but still)

three albums I will never listen to by bands I otherwise like.

clearly I was on drugs for this one though...

    Sugar Ray - Floored

*hangs head in same at the purchase of Sugar Ray*
"FLY" was such a guilty pleasure though

    Kittie - Spit.

Easily the worst album in my collection.

anywho, my worst album in my collection would have to be

Mr Bungle - Disco Volante - very bad indeed

Worst one I every bought was Radiohead. I liked "creep" but couldn't find a single around, so I bought the whole cd -- and there wasn't a single song worth listening to on the whole thing.

Radiohead- Kid A, to this day I havent figured out what suffered the most, my head after listening to it or the cd player after I tore the cd out.
Other notables are Space- Tin planet and pink floyd- piper at the gates of dawn (I am a massive floyd fan but that album was sh*t)

Live Evil by Black Sabath(mk. 2). To think, that title could have been used on a good album. For shame.

Mine is a remix cd by Fear Factory called "Fear is the Mindkiller". God that cd sucks ass. There's only one good song on it and that is Self Immolation the LP version. Oh well, I shall know for again...

Probably... Carnivore "Carnivore"... damn stupid Peter Steele making me think that he was great. Damn him!

Also... probably... Coverkill by Overkill... was the only album of theirs that I could find with ease and being... well... stupid, I bought it.

But no. The worst album I probably have ever bought was...
ooh! It was a Sex Pistols album. It was dubbed some sort of greatest hits thing and lacking Never Mind The... I thought'd it'd do. Should've checked. It was the post Sid era only... brr... gave it to a friend straightaway... he never listened to it.

    And yes, Iowa=****.

Mostly everyone here feels the same way.

    Korn - "Issues".

I kindof liked the previous albums but Issues is plain awful. Also marked the end of my brief infatuation with Korn and their ilk.

Sepultura's album 'Against' for me was one of the worst/dissapointing albums of all time, it brought and end to two things, firstly Sepulturas reign of brillance was shattered by this utter tripe and secondly no more max cavalara he moved onto Soulfly by this stage taking the original Sepultura sound with him.

After listening to a CD that I got with Terrorizer magazine, I was blown away by a song called Absolute Purity by a band called ALAS. I couldn't wait long enough for to buy it in the shops, so I bought it over the net. I still think the song Absolute Purity is amazing, but the rest of the CD is the biggest load of bottom-muck that I've ever heard.

Oh god! I know the feeling. I bought that album on the strenght of that one song, and the rest of the album was indeed woefull! Great song itself though.

I also bought the Iced Earth album 'Horror Show' because of a song on the same cover CD.
    And that was fantastic.

    As for Garbage...
I only have the first album.
Great album, and I wouldn't mind getting 2.0, but I'm not in any rush to run out and grab it.
Dunno would I bother with Beautiful Garbage though.
