In fairness the forester was his and he sold that and I recognise that pug, kaiser d seems fairly genuine.
And apologies but I couldn't resist a taking the mick offer! :p

Sorry my spider senses just went mental when I spotted the ebay url earlier. I was kind enough to PM Kaiser offering to remove the posts if he wanted to protect his username in case he was an ex-user so nothing nasty was intended :)

I love it :P I don't like the MK4 Golf front end though, but everything else about the car is MK3.

Had plans for a TD conversion but of course the Legend has taken all of my funds away.

I sold my BMW 320D about two-three months ago after insurance was a bitch to sort. Probably better off, as the tax would have been killer too. Picked up a little MG ZR as my little run around for a few months, which will probably be sold soon, as I'm going for the full license + Turned 21 - Great little car since I've had it. Not a single problem to note. Long NCT and had two months tax really lured me in. Plus my old Rover 45 was good to me.

I had also bought a Honda Civic a few months ago as a car to fix and sell off. Didn't turn out quite as I planned, with quite a few bills for it, and in the end running out of money to finish it off. Managed to get a lovely Golf for it though. Very happy with it.

All chat and no pics make for angry mods
Maybe the chat thread would be a good place? Cos I do recall bans being handed out when chatter happened again :o

The legend deserves the funds over the golf anyway. Best of luck with the sale

Estate 9-3 aero adds to the sleeperish of that Saab.
I'd be leaving the alloys the way they are, just because it makes it look so boring and slow!:p

    regarding ebay and gumtree

"In May 2005, Gumtree was acquired by eBay’s classifieds group"
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gumtree

And if you go to any ad on gumtree, you'll see all the images are from ebayimg.com

Don't like the sticker bomb on the bootm bumper lip. Also I like the way you covered the scratches on bumper with a cross sticker.

Went and picked up another gtv today with lord alfamort.
It's in decent enough condition as well and recently had the belt replaced. No nct or anything but gotten for a bargain.

Both of us had originally tried to buy it on Thursday, but the seller was in work and unable to come out and sell so we viewed it from the visitors car park.
Had walked into the prison but only had the sellers first name so one of the prison officers couldn't track him down.
Shall be a nice addition to the alfa collection. :)

He was asking me to look at it with him, I was busy though. Glad to see it was bought, however I don't understand why you'd need so many of them. :p

They're cheap, that's why. If an s14 was going for the price of 3 nights out on the town, would you be buying more than one?
The chap up in Belfast who I got the gearbox off has 5 of them. Bought his first one new and sold it 3 years later. Then a few years later couldn't get over how cheap they had got, so gradually added to the collection.

Jumping the battery of the gtv which is in the boot.

The alfa designers really screwed up the terminal locations. If you ever have to jump a gtv or 156 you'll understand what I mean, when you scratch your head and wonder how the feck do you get leads on!

Buy a few knackered ones in order to make 1 good one which itself will be knackered in a few months and will be a donor car itself after that :pac:
