How many petals on the rose

    One of them things you either get straight away or takes forever....

    Press the "Roll" button to get started.
    Enter how many petals you think are around the rose.
    Press the "Check" button to check your answer.
    Repeat steps 1-3 until you can get it right every time!
    Once you have figured it out, don't spoil the fun for others...let them figure it out for themselves!

    Took me a few rolls but got there eventually.

    Interestingly in the background to the game, it mentions that the longer it takes to get it the smarter you are, good news for all us who got it quickly enough eh?:)

    I remember doing this, except the guy showing it to me was using home made dice with numbers written on - took me ages.

    If you need hints - the answer is always even, and the name is VERY important

    Tbh i think it was just his excuse for taking so long to get it. The name of the game pretty much sceams the solution at you. Someone tried to claim that smart people would believe there had to be a complicated mathematical solution to it. Personally I think it is more likely to seperate the people with book smarts from those who are actually intelligent. Really though intelligence has little to do with finding the solution, since the solution is more intuitive.

    I think the name is only concerned when you look at how the 5 die are lined up the first time you open the page.

    I've been coming back to this game and I still can't figure it out... I think I might know and then I try the same strategy on the next roll only to discover how off I am!!
