Don't think so! He thinks she is dead so he ODs ,He dies she lives......I'd have prefered the 2 of them gone tobe honest!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,679 ✭✭✭Chong

I hope to christ the two of them are dead. EE has gone so downhill its become so bleeding rubbish. They should sack half the cast because none them can act, for example earlier on in the ep Demi hadnt a clue wat heroin was , and by the end she is shooting up like a pro. The show is no longer plausible at all, the only they can hope for now is for the mitchell bros to totally rejuvenate the show.

I doubt it, it's just one of those cheesy cliff-hanger devices that the EE-writers have come to depend on.

I think they should do an 'Emerdale' and wipe-out most of the cast. The storylines are so weak and milked out for ages.

I can already see the big Xmas blockbuster storyline being Chrissy and the girls being nailed for Den's murder. It's about as obvious as a 40-foot truck approaching you at 5mph. Yawn.

I totally agree with yourself Dublinwriter, kill everyone off . Thats what Sky Ones Dream Team have done killed off the whole football team.

Slightly off topic, but still on the topic of Eastenders. Does anyone know when the Mitchells are returning to Albert Square?? I thought it was originally set for around about this time (being the end of August).

I thought the same, I reckon they'll turn up when Sam gets sent down (cant be that long away). Maybe mid September.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Seems to be mid september ok... According to this weeks RTE guide's soap watch page Peggy is due back sometime this week.... not sure about the two boys, Grant and Phil though. Isn't Phil currently behind bars as we speak anyway???

It will be interesting to see how they bring Phil back into the square, as your dead right, he in prison for armed robbery,
I always thought you get 25 years for that, but its soap isn’t it

Yeah, plus he escaped, so should get extra time, shouldn't he?? Ah well, I donno, soap operas will be soap operas!!

Besides, it'll add a bit of dymanics to the show when he does return... Plus the return of Grant will be an interesting one, he hasn't been in it for years!!

IT’S ALL HERE: THE DATE OF THE MITCHELL BROTHERS RETURN and STORY._40803519_grantphil_300.jpg

Not only do I have the date of there return, but the exclusive story on the way they return all the black and white.

But be warned as the last thing I want to do is spoil it for you true fans out their!

    # the date
    Friday October the 3rd

    # the story
Now most of us,,,or atleast me can't wait for Grant and Phils return. It's been along wait and now it here!!!
Grant and Phil both return to the square on October 3rd and that's only 4 weeks away so things should start to move pretty quickly.
Now for the good bit - how about this scene return?
Sharon and Dennis are having the party that they never had for there wedding, but this time in the Vic. Chrissies behind the bar all happy and thinking she’s come up smelling of roses. Peggy's there and is also looking cheeringly at Chrissie as if to say "you'll get yours" Now everyone in the square have heard a rumor about Grant and Phil returning but don't believe it. Peggy knows though that they're set to return. As the party continues into the night, we start to see a number of short clips of a black cab as it arrives in the square. Then as Sharon and Dennis start a speech we see the door on the cab open and two pairs of feet step out and the camera follows the feet. {we also see a couple of sport bags dangling, obviously grant and phi’s clothes} Just as the Vic is quiet and they're nearly toasting Sharon and Dennis, the door of the vic opens and the camera shows moves to show two men Grant and Phil standing side by side, Ian was a heart-attack ha ha/ so Grant and Phil are standing side by side and say

    Phil--"alwight Mum" {Peggy smiles gleafully}
    Grant--"What's goin on eer then?"

    Closing credits

Does this sound likely? leaked story
I heard somewhere that police find a letter written by Den to Sharon when they search the vic following the discovery of Dens body!
In the letter Den apologises for things he's done including putting her through hell when he set Phil up for the robbery and he was on the warpath!
Den basically gets Phil released without even knowing it!
Phil is released on bail on less serious charges.
Phil himself is totally baffled at his release and Grant arrives just in time to pick him up after being summoned by Peggy!
once there back in the square, they will begin a campaign of terror to win back the Queen Vic.....................

    Great..love it.....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Ah.... sounds somewhat credible that Turismo.... oh and thanks for the link.

The first photo of the menacing Mitchell brothers on the set of Eastenders has been released.

    >View photo here<

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Apparently, Peggy being...Peggy (of course) will manage to track down the solicitor bloke that ripped em off, and the truth comes out about Den and Phil's little break in!! Phil is left off on bail for less serious charges, and they are all reunited while sam awaits the verdict on her murder case!!!

I'm sure that, with the lot of em back, they'll manage to squeeze some truths outta Chrissie with tregard Dens death and teh Mitchells will rule the Square again... or at least the Vic anyway!!!

That date could be premature, I’m reading now it the
    24th of Oct!
/ Lots of Rumours going around the sites!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Filming is usually done about 6 to 8 weeks in advance or at least thats what Jim Bartley told me about Fair City the one time I meet him. I'm assuming Eastenders is simular.

I'm guessing myself that the later date would be more accurate. We'll just have to wait and see won't we?

Care to give examples of this so called obsession?? I think I may have mentioned it once or twice before that I met him, wouldn't exactly call it an obsession. I have believe it or not met far more famous folks that Bella.

Oh, and by the way. Do I know you?

David Essex is also joining playing a chirpy cockney, ie he replaces Alfie Moon!

Ok, sorry to drift slightly, but is it just me or what, but what do ye think Johnny is up to? He says that he is buying the Vic as a Third person... who is he buying it for?

I have my doubts about Johnny, But I think there is an interesting reason why he is keeping hush hush about the real person he is buying the pub for. Hear me out on this I maybe wrong, but reading through the lines this is what I'm guessing whats goiung on....

Peggy so wants the Vic back, but Chrissie has no intention of selling to her. Johnny knowing this is trying in very way to annoy Peggy by buying it, and saying that he is buying it not for himself but for some mystery person. It only my assumption, but I'm guessing that this mystery person is none other than Grant, Peggy's son!!!!

By keeping Pegy outta the question, Chrissie is gonna sell to anyone but her, so if Peggy is unaware of the goings on, it makes it even harder for Chrissie to see that the pub will be selling to a mitchell. Also Johnny has the balls to sack Billy, making it look to everyone that he is turning his back on the Mitchells, even when he's not!

Roll on then, Chrissie leaves, and the Vic is once again in the rightful hands of the Mitchells.

So, what ye think, sounds like a good storyline but is its possible that I'm wrong?

This is a possibilty all right but what about the idea that he id buying it for Frank??

    Frank? Frank who?

You mean Peggy's ex husband Frank Butcher? He's dead is he not?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,742 ✭✭✭blackbelt

No Frank is not dead.I think you are thinking of Roy.Mike Reid(Frank) is coming back to Walford for Janines trial.

On another note, how does Phil get out of his armed robbery trial?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Phil is let out on bail for less serious charges. Somehow it comes out that Dirty den framed, but how I donno!

    Janines trial? You mean Sam's?

Poor Peggy, she’s about to get the full assault from Johnny’s henchman, so is it the end for her????…….
NO - a Big Range Rover with two Bigger Brothers show up and sort the guy out by ‘’guess what’’’ beating him up.. / after a lot of loving hugs and kisses, grant decides to kick the door of the vic in and comes face to face with the killer of den, who doesn’t have a clue to who he is, but she soon realises who and nearly drops in fear, Dennis comes down to see what is going on and it all goes to hell as Dennis gets the full brunt of grants muscle.

Theirs a lot more from grant, but the best I think is what Phil does to Ian, as they come face to face in the week, and Ian decides to use his new found Aikido on him….. all I’ll say is ‘’It’s a laugh a minute…

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Guess i can safely say that I was wrong about Johnny buying the Vic for te Mitchells. He'd hardly go all mean and slam peggy's fingers in the door if he was now would he?

So, how do they get the pub back? I'm guessing that when Chrissie seems the two boys, the scare the sh1t outta her, and she's forced to sell to them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,954 ✭✭✭✭Larianne

That was great, Johnny smashing Peggy's fingers in the door. I can't wait for Grant and Phil to return together! Don't watch eastenders much anymore but will next week! :)

hey anything that moves storylines away from Alfie moon is good in my book.
Seriously Eastenders has needed something to kick start it for a long while now , It was just gone so boring especially the whole kat , alfie , mo love triangle:rolleyes:
