Care to give examples of this so called obsession?? I think I may have mentioned it once or twice before that I met him, wouldn't exactly call it an obsession. I have believe it or not met far more famous folks that Bella.

Oh, and by the way. Do I know you?

Thats Phil Daniels. A proper actor!

David Essex is also joining playing a chirpy cockney, ie he replaces Alfie Moon!

    Mike.

Ok, sorry to drift slightly, but is it just me or what, but what do ye think Johnny is up to? He says that he is buying the Vic as a Third person... who is he buying it for?

I have my doubts about Johnny, But I think there is an interesting reason why he is keeping hush hush about the real person he is buying the pub for. Hear me out on this I maybe wrong, but reading through the lines this is what I'm guessing whats goiung on....

Peggy so wants the Vic back, but Chrissie has no intention of selling to her. Johnny knowing this is trying in very way to annoy Peggy by buying it, and saying that he is buying it not for himself but for some mystery person. It only my assumption, but I'm guessing that this mystery person is none other than Grant, Peggy's son!!!!

By keeping Pegy outta the question, Chrissie is gonna sell to anyone but her, so if Peggy is unaware of the goings on, it makes it even harder for Chrissie to see that the pub will be selling to a mitchell. Also Johnny has the balls to sack Billy, making it look to everyone that he is turning his back on the Mitchells, even when he's not!

Roll on then, Chrissie leaves, and the Vic is once again in the rightful hands of the Mitchells.

So, what ye think, sounds like a good storyline but is its possible that I'm wrong?

This is a possibilty all right but what about the idea that he id buying it for Frank??

    Frank? Frank who?

You mean Peggy's ex husband Frank Butcher? He's dead is he not?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,742 ✭✭✭blackbelt

No Frank is not dead.I think you are thinking of Roy.Mike Reid(Frank) is coming back to Walford for Janines trial.

On another note, how does Phil get out of his armed robbery trial?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Phil is let out on bail for less serious charges. Somehow it comes out that Dirty den framed, but how I donno!

    Janines trial? You mean Sam's?

Poor Peggy, she’s about to get the full assault from Johnny’s henchman, so is it the end for her????…….
NO - a Big Range Rover with two Bigger Brothers show up and sort the guy out by ‘’guess what’’’ beating him up.. / after a lot of loving hugs and kisses, grant decides to kick the door of the vic in and comes face to face with the killer of den, who doesn’t have a clue to who he is, but she soon realises who and nearly drops in fear, Dennis comes down to see what is going on and it all goes to hell as Dennis gets the full brunt of grants muscle.

Theirs a lot more from grant, but the best I think is what Phil does to Ian, as they come face to face in the week, and Ian decides to use his new found Aikido on him….. all I’ll say is ‘’It’s a laugh a minute…

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Guess i can safely say that I was wrong about Johnny buying the Vic for te Mitchells. He'd hardly go all mean and slam peggy's fingers in the door if he was now would he?

So, how do they get the pub back? I'm guessing that when Chrissie seems the two boys, the scare the sh1t outta her, and she's forced to sell to them.

That was great, Johnny smashing Peggy's fingers in the door. I can't wait for Grant and Phil to return together! Don't watch eastenders much anymore but will next week! :)

hey anything that moves storylines away from Alfie moon is good in my book.
Seriously Eastenders has needed something to kick start it for a long while now , It was just gone so boring especially the whole kat , alfie , mo love triangle:rolleyes:
    Bring on the gangster antics.

ya read it in a soap mag but ithink he doesnt have it4 2long as the mittchells get it back

Hey mate, this isn't your mobile phone, its the web, your not limited to the amount of characters you have type, so no need to use text language. Far easier to read/understand if you type it correctly!!! ***Rant over***

Anyway, back on topic, Ian would be an easy target for the Mitchells, he's a flamin' wimp.... Plus Phil has it in for him now cos he was the one that called the cops the time Phil escaped and went on the runabout round the square. (Remember he was flying punches at all the cops outside the Vic, Matrix style).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,954 ✭✭✭✭Larianne

WEll Phil and Ian never did get on. How has someone not bumped off Ian yet? And such a whinger too, jesus!

Well the boys are back in town tonight!! Whoo. Yeah I know its only a show but its oldskool eastenders! Deadly! :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Yeah, the boys are back in town. Gonna make for some viewing in the next few weeks. As you put it Larianne, its old school Eastenders. Badly needed a boost the show did anyway.

I hate the way the bring em back right at the end of the show!!! Aaahhhhh!!!

Thought it was a classic eastender moment, when Grant said that line...

    Hello Mum!

Like he just popped down the road for a pint of milk! Brilliant!

there is lots of comedy coming up over the next few days. Saw an interview with Ross Kemp on Richard & Judy yesterday. Looks like Easter's will be a bit more interesting for the next 3 weeks than that pathetic Alfie Moon 'love' triangle story!

it should be interesting viewing with Grant back, esp as i heard sharon & grant have an old snog as dennis walks into the pub !! so we might have a sharon grant dennis love triangle

More like 'Allo Mum' with a little twinkle in his eye... what is it bout Grant Mitchell?? Must just be the bad boy thing but he looked very yummy last night.

I can't wait to see it later, should be really good. I know the Mitchells get the Vic back but I'm guessing that the boys just bully Chrissy into selling it to her. Esp now that Dennis is getting all suspicious bout Chrissie.

The most interesting thing will be what will Phil and Grant do to Denis? Seeing as it was his fault that (well partly) that phil was locked up in the first place.. and if that hadnt happen then... no sam in jail, no chrissie, den still alive etc etc... I reckon Ian is first on Phils list, closely followed by Denis!!

At least it will liven 7:30 week nights up a bit
