Pure fvcking relief! :D There were some very expensive overs from Harmison there and Jones was likely to be hero or villan.

    Phew.

    Mike.

Here, for your delectation, is an exact transcript of my reaction to Kasper's Son being caught behind with just 3 runs needed for victory:

YEEEAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHF**CKINGBEAUTIFULARRRRRRRRRGHBLOODYF**KINGLOVELYHARMISAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH - *ChokesOnOwnJoy* following 10 seconds spent coughing, spluttering, and declaring undying love for Geraint Jones - YOULOVELYBAST&RDSYESYESF**KINGYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS.

    Ahem.

As you can see, we Poms are just as gracious in victory as we are humble in defeat.

    Roll on Old Trafford.

    :D
I can't even remember what I did now I think it was just silent relief

Incredible finish, second closest finish ever in test matches, 3rd test should be another cracker

what a finish. That was absolutely unbelievable.

The Australian tailenders deserve so much praise for the way they played.

and the best bit is that the final dismissal should not have been given.....Kasprowicz had his hand off the bat when the ball hit him. :D

As for warne......hero to zero with one clumsy foot step :p

    Indeed.

1-1 now, I'm pretty sure this is the first time England have levelled a series against Australia when it wasn't a dead rubber already since.... 1981....

That mail that was doing the rounds might be onto something!

    fantastic ending today!
I've only started watching cricket over the past few weeks after a few lessons / guides to the rules from an English cousin.
What a brilliant introduction I've had... the past few days have been stunning.
I've been glued to the TV watching it, to the annoyance of family and friends who still dont understand the game :)

What the Australian papers say -

    The Age

    Herald Sun

    The Australian
