Boys are stupid. They know nothing about girls hair. My hair is pretty. You are dumb. QED.

    Or, alternatively...

    J (H)<I
    S

where J = Joe's Opinion, H = Subject of Hair, I = My complete indifference S= Satisfaction in shininess and manageability of hair

    Goldsmith showers... awg aahhwg :D

Goldsmith showers wore nice, but Botany Bay's were far superior. Don't you feel there just isn't a place to put anything in there? I went to the 2euro shop on liffey street and bought this white yoke you stick all the shower gel, soap, shampoo and other showery stuff in. Great investment. Beds are very comfortable in GS too. I'm at home home now and can hardle sleep cos I've a bed like the himilyays which is also freezing.

That they may for yourself I think they're way too soft. The bed I had in denmark didnt actually have a mattress. It was like 3cm thick of that yellow office couch foam on top of solid wood, so maybe I just got used to it. Considered sleeping on the floor last night actually. Hmmm...

Different strokes for different folks. I was very critical of the size of the beds on a different forum, I don't know why exactly, I think they're standard sized!

I like king sized beds, well, because, they make me feel like a king. And I can do that little scene from Borat when he's in the Hotel on the chair.

I think a bed is probably one of the things you should spend as much time, money and energy selecting. It's one of the places you're going to spend a huge amount of your time in. I'm going shopping for a new mattress tomorrow. Spare no expense.

hrmm the showers in goldsmith, one of the best things about the place..... my morning shower could last well over an hour ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,626 ✭✭✭Stargal

GMB showers ftw. They're ginormous and the water pressure is really strong.

Hehehe..it makes the onomatopoeia all the funnier!!

Halls showers are pretty good, shame about the stupid timed hot water though. Oh well, at least it's better than the non-functional contraption in Meath, or the Forbidden Shower in my grandmother's in Kerry..

Oh yes the New Square lukewarm trickle of water......and then you get out into a freezing cold room. My hair is rotten now because the water pressure is so pathetic I can't actually rinse the shampoo out. I want my old Trinity Hall ensuite shower back!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,579 ✭✭✭Pet

It's a shower that would appear to work, but its use is forbidden by my grandmother, because it "wastes electricity" and "nobody needs to shower every day, sure once a week is enough". Sheesh, she may be 77, but still, Kerry people really need to learn about personal hygiene..
