Medicine Course Query

Hey, I repeated my leaving this year, got 560 last year and want to do medicine. I'm just wondering if worst comes to worst and I don't get it again, I have pharmacy down aswell on my CAO and Science, so if I do pharmacy is there a chance of somehow getting into the medicine course at the end of my pharmacy course? first year is supposed to have a relatively light workload, i think the latter years involve more work

Except in UCC where everyone skips pre-med and goes straight in the deep end.
