Thats probably how I recognised you from your picture in the other thread. I would have been up in Kens a good bit after the Temple of Sound and the UFO some nights. Went up there actually after Orbital in 96, another bloke I knew at the time puked on Kens bed, basically a bottle of Buckfast came back up and all over Kens pillow - he wasn't too impressed obviously! Ken would have been with us a lot also in the Temple of Sound and back to several parties too. Come to think of it, was he in the UFO the night it was raided? I know you mentioned before that you were arrested that night and I knew a few others that were also.

We must have a meet up at some stage, get Ken out too. Fckin years since I've seen him, sound bloke.

Any of you remember in the Asylum when the cross fader would bring in Cartoon music for a couple of seconds?
I cant remember what cartoon exactly it was but everyone just looked at each other and without a word being spoken the look said eveything What the fu*k, did I just hear what I think I heard:eek::):D
Nuts, it matched the mad cartoons on the wall.

Didnt feel intimidated in the slightest when i was buzzing in there but was still tuned into who were the real dangerous fuc.kers to avoid in the place......lot of heads that used to sit up by the back wall of the skag room before you went out onto the stairs up to the third floor were not to be crossed but like i said if you didnt cross anyone you had nothing to worry about:D

Bugged the sh.it outta me to be honest.....you would be in the flow of things & then that cr.ap would stop the flow for a second or two.....Just play the fuc.king tunes man!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the asylum, yeah there was gear in there and some mad goings on but to tell you the truth I never felt threatened in any way in that place. I felt a lot safer than I did in a lot of so called clubs before and after and as was pointed out to me a few times you've got a very ****ing posh accent to be in here :pac: may have been the drugs or the music but I think really it was the atmosphere of the place that made it feel like the safest place on the planet when you were in there. Ah well I gotta laugh outta it. Worse was when they completley stopped the music in the Olympic; over and over again. The first time there was a build up to it but after the third time it got annoying, very annoying.
Remember too in The Asylum when the same track would be on two decks at the same time as in the same track mixing in and out of each other. Then three or four tracks later that original track would be dropped in and out as in the DJ mixing with 3 records at the same time, class it was.
I think Ciffy was at that lark but I'd love to hear an Asylum tape with this on it if it exists.

I'm prepairing a batch of old-flyers at the min, (Mick Walsh took the time-out to scan almost 500 images :eek:) Below is just a peek, - They'll all be available over at my "Re'BUZZ De'FUZZ" site when I archive them (this batch will be ready in a few weeks at least ) - Some of the flyers have never been posted to my knowledge, they are from 88 to 98, and there's a mass load of photos from sides - quite scarey, but priceless. - Have some other goodies nearly ready to roll also so stay tuned.

Yeah i was probably there after Orbital as well i cant actually remember,Ken rang me out of the blue last year and we were supposed to meet up but for whatever reason never did,then i texted him around Xmas and were supposed to meet up for a few gargles again but i was going away the day he was free so again that fell by the wayside, Ken was a great mate of mine and we went through a lot together,i stil have his number here so ill definitely be in touch and ill mention this to him, i must tell him as well that my mot is up the duff (first time ive mentioned it on here:D) so exciting and big things to come, don't worry though there's still life in the old dog yet for a handful of sessions this year,none so far this year and it's almost March but i can feel one coming on soon enough;):D

Yo Jonny68 - Just download the graphic and resize it to your needs... most sites use different specs for avatars (dimension and file sizes) so best do it yourself. [TIP - When you do downsize the image, apply a 'SHARPEN' filter @ 1 Pixel to the smaller image - the smaller you go the more 'sharpen' you apply.)

And how old is your old? - that Sides flyer is from 1988.

This is the best mix ive done in quite sometime IMO...

This is the 2nd mix of my tribute to the classic Guerilla Records Label, a semimal 1990's label responsible for some of the best Progressive House/Trance,etc tracks in dance music.

Unlike the first mix which was more Housey with some progressive this is more full on,if you know about Guerilla Records you'll most likely know the Artists and/or tunes ive selected.

Knew chester from when I was kid and he used to do bouncer out in the amusements in Bray, Last time i saw him was when he had taken over the door in the System and he was in a bad way. Good bloke pity it went the way it did but then again that's the life he choose. know mags as well she's a good laugh but mad as a brush

Congrats! - when is she due? Hate to tell you, but kids do tend to slow down the aul clubbing etc, especially two like I have! :pac: Ah they are great though
