    Hi Guys,

I am in the market for a smallish outboard for a lakeboat. I must be light enough for putting it on each time I want to go out..
I have been offered a Suzuki 6hp 4Year old engine for €800..Would this be right?(Seems a bit much too me)

What would you guys recommend to me?I am looking for something up to about 8hp but will only spend around 700-800 at most
Also what should I be paying for make, age etc?

    Thanks,

    Hakko

I have just found a 4YR old 6HP suzuki for sale, not sure if it is long or short shafted, I am nearly sure it is a 4 stroke from looking at www.suzuki-marine.co.uk your man is looking for €800 for it..is this worth it or way too much..also if its a for stroke will it be too heavy for taking it on/off the boat every time I want to use it..
