    Few more:

A Plymouth Barracuda and a Cobra (I think) on the South Mall. MKII was in tralee with a sign on the windscreen telling the warden it had a puncture.

I suppose he doesn't have them on display for the public does he? :)

Really wish I'd gone to that rally now.
I didn't think there would be a Stratos in Ireland considering their rarity.

Doesn't Pat Horan, the camper dealer in Borrisokane have a Stratos as well as an 037 and a Fiat 131 Abarth and other rally goodies.

A man called Steve Perez had this one at the Killarney Historic rally a few years ago, shame that this event was cancelled this year.

No that photo isn't from the memorial weekend. There was about a dozen or so cars at the memorial weekend, very wet weather, IIRC there were 131 Sports, 127 Sports, 124 coupes, x1/9s, a Ritmo convertible ,Tipo 16V, a 132 and a 131 saloon there.

Well - if you bought an original Lamborghini Diablo, you'd be getting Nissan headlamps and generic bus rear lights. Bristol always bought in off-the-shelf lights, like most cottage exotica manufacturers.

Bristol haven't made an attractive car since the 406 imo - and the 404 was their best looker by far.

Or an Aston Martin DBS or V8, you got Hillman Hunter rear lights and switchgear from a Vauxhall Viva!

I have to agree, Bristol made a very well engineered car, I worked on a 406 a few years ago, lovely car, very smooth to drive, lovely engines.

Sure the DeLorean was the same, the engine was from a Renault Alpine, the suspension from a Ford Cortina, that interior origianlly originated from Volkswagen, and the design from a Lotus Esprit.

Sure the rare RHD UK-spec. version had the rear lights from a Leyland bus!

You're too kind - the engine was from the Renault 25/Peugeot 604/Volvo 264 - not even remotely exotic
