    Citroen DS 1998(?) 2,540km!! €37,498 FOB

Oops - thought this was the "I'm not buying" thread... :D

VERY clean US spec DS, year dubious, a lot of US spec LHD stuff was sold to Japan because it was 'prestege' to be seen in a LHD car. Excellent buy for some DS enthu. with wads of cash.;)

There seems to be a Lancia/Fiat run on in Cork. They are passing my door coming from Kinsale heading to Cork. There is some nice machinery, but one Rover P6 in the middle......

I better not tag along as I've the garden to do. (it's not so bad, I took the ol' Escort for a run earlier.)

I was there, looked like a good crowd in the car park anyway, that wind was icy cold at times though, but it was a well planned and put together show, and most importantly of all, very interesting, as just more of the same loses its appeal after a while

Likewise, and importantly, the weather was sunny if cold.

Didn't see any of my ex's (various estates, Camaros, 6.6 T/A,Suburban, Shelby Mustang,Mustang lll, etc...) in the photos - wonder where they are now.

A lot of Irish cars that are advertised on the net seem to be going overseas to countries where people can still afford toys. The Charger that sold at the show was only advertised through word of mouth... I'm sure it would have gone OS months ago if it had been advertised on the interwebs...

I know if I was selling the Challenger I'd advertise her OS, similar cars are selling in Australia for €50k for example.... & I know I couldn't get an offer of even near half that here

Sold my Shelby YEARS ago through Custom Car magazine, chap flew over from UK with UKP5k cash (20's:eek:) in suitcase. Drove him to the ferry in it and sayonara (worth x20 that money now:( ).

Have a few lines going to sell 3 yokes I have now o/seas, W/Africa / Thailand / Australia possible destinations depending on freight costs - 04 cars selling here for 4k are fetching 14k in some countries ( but duty / freight might destroy that  )
