Saw these two recently. The Granada may be familiar to, or even owned by someone on here, but probably not so with the truck.

Where was the Bedford parked up ?

The bigger question is how is the guy in the Granada getting out of that spot?

yes - a bluey silver I think, stunning car, and very unusual to see something so special parked out on the street, owner probably took it to their pad in the South of France !

.............I sold a silver one to a guy around the corner from there. Wonder if its the same car.

..................I saw a white Granada coupe, mint condition, on the old M1 at Donabate yesterday. Coincidence considering how rare they are now.

Up in Springhill Ave in Deans Grange - 69D white US-spec Citroen DS in one drive (outside another 'everyday' car so it must be a driver ) and a Mini (Countryman) estate under covers. DS rare enough, but US-spec as well;)

Wikipedia has a pic of a '69 US-spec one. Doesn't look as awful as you may have imagined :)

It's in a yard about 15-20 minutes drive outside Birr (Offaly) on the road to Kinnity. I could probably find out more about it if you like?

    Actually, I was thinking.....the exact.....opposite !

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

^ What make is that? Is it some sort of Eastern bloc mobility vehicle for elderly or disabled?

I doubt its homemade as the roof and panels seem to fit very well despite its years. Would be a nice thing to do a light resto on.

that car lives in Ludford in Ballinteer, from what I can work out it's used as a daily driver so the 75k miles is surprising.

The one time I manage to get my phone out in time to snap a classic, and it's a fecking Allegro! :D

Spotless car, though. Fair play to the owner. Picture taken in Kimmage.

Yep, that's in daily use. I see it around all the time. It looks better in real life than in those photos (except for the cheap wheel trims).
