Sorry I've no photo but I saw 8000RI today - a W114 me thinks - a nice looking Merc and definitely not one I had seen before. Anyone know it?

No pics but pre '87 reg Transit "custom" spotted in Baltinglass yesterday, top hinged rear door, white in colour. Second time spotting this machine, Manta mad might be able to shed some light ?

Haven't been to that yard yet, dont want to wast his time as I have enough on my plate at the moment, that red scirroco(spelling) looks to be very savable and most on original irish regs too,I think most of the aircooled vws have been taken.

Spotted this outside my neighbours house this evening. Its not his, just someone visiting. Could not believe the condition of it considering that most fiats of this gen just rot out. This one must have been restored.
