Here's a rather sorry looking Capri parked by the ferry - a 1972 1600GT XLR according to Cartell.
    Picture_001_Small_2.jpg

Sold on ebay on January 17th, was only across the pond about 15 miles from holyhead. Took them a while to get it home considering it's location.

English reg Mk2 Jag being hauled into tralee this evening..
    Image926.jpg
And not a classic car but interesting because of its Reg plate..
    Image924.jpg
Its a Ford 7610,and the number is an early 50s cork county series, looks like it was one of the old reissued plates back in the day...

I also saw some old tractors but I have no idea why they were on the back of this heavy haulage rig.

    How long is that trailer!?

I thought the same thing. Then i thought it was a barrier.

    Looks mahooosive.

I reckon the bed is 60 foot. Unfortunately I missed the truck.
For some reason yer man had an old tractor at either end of the trailer[rear one just out of shot].
Reminded me of the time all them tractors were being hauled to Cooley penninsula for that world record a while back.

Looks like the tractor is nervous and jumped up off the bed!:p

I'd say it is probably a skeletal 75ft but it's odd that it appears to be extended (without a load).

It looks like a Scania T cab.

Perhaps not a classic, but I thought it was worthy of posting as it's a daily runner still going strong! The interior is in bits having felt the stress of it's 20+ stone owner!

    Hi all

Today was our monthly meeting which had a nice turn out of members and their Triumphs along with some members in their non Triumph classic's and everyday day cars.

Everyone was welcome and we had a good meeting.

Our guest at the meeting was Myles OReilly from AXA Concours Insurance.

Myles gave us a talk on Classic Car Insurance and then opened the floor to questions from the members. It all went very well and Myles gave each member a nice gift pack, which we hope to NEVER USE!!

Myles I would like to thank you for an outstanding service you have given to me and our members, also the work you have put into supporting the classic car fraternity as a whole. Well done.

Here are just a few quick pictures taken today.

wonder if the minor still for sale?

I'd imagine it probably is, that is the most recent of the photos, it was taken on Jan. 29th. this year, some of the others go back 18 months!

It's located in an estate called Carrig Glen in Blessington, it's near the front of the estate you can't miss it.

Hi all, i saw a Lamborghini Espada yesterday evening on the M11!
I joined from Loughlinstown roundabout, and the Lambo was already on the
M50. This was about 7PM, so it was dark. I got closer to it, drew alongside and passed him, giving the thumbs up. I pulled back in and let the window down, ready for when he passed - glorious sound, and even small licks of flame from the tailpipes  as he went by, doing close to the ton!
The car was red, 'L' reg english plates. Anyone else see this?

Saw this today. Didn't like the the white plate at all at all... Although I don't know would the black/silver do it any favours with the colour of the car... Arah i don't know. Lovely car though, spotless looking.

I wonder would the plate be worth as much as the car?
