my fav. bit is in the one with the Spider Baby and the fair and stuff when Ted is on the phone to the guy from the TV and Dougal does the thing with the statue of Mary :D

Ted trying to skim a stone at the beach and hitting the guy in the rowing boat... some nice Hot Shots humour there. :D
Topped off with the dialog "Oooh ye' little pup! wait there till I get ye!"... I loved that... "little pup", such a bad description of a middle-aged priest (ted).
It was so well executed in writing and direction I think... really hit the spot.

My favorite bit is when they are all in car,and they all fall asleep while driving at night. Then the radio goes "Cockadoddle do" and Ted says "god i nearly dropped off there for a min"....Class.

Has to be from the "speed" episode where Dougle becomes the milkman.

He goes to the door and the women come out naked to answer it...then at the end dougle is in bed and he jumps up shouting "THOSE WOMEN WERE IN THE NIP"

(also the idea of saying mass to help Dougle on the back of a tractor was legend!)

Agreed. Thats my favorite moment. Or when the priest gets snapped in the eye while inspecting a bra. Marvellous stuff.

I watch this show obsessively! Only watching it last night and some great lines:

Dougal (with binoculars): "No sign of them yet Ted"
Ted: "Eh.... Dougal.... Dougal.... They are here!"

Ted: "That is the great thing about catholicism, it's so vague and nobody really knows what it is all about"

Ted (speaking about class 1 relics): "oh that would be really big stuff, bringing people back from the dead, time travel, cloning dinosaurs"

Dougal: "That is the part i have trouble with!"

Bishop:" I saw that film, Apollo 13 recently and it reminded me of my own brush with death."
ted: "You mean... you were in space when you had your heart attack!"

Eddy: (speaking about Dougal) "Treasure this man Father Crilly, he has wisdom far beyond his years"

    Mrs. Doyle: "There.... Oh Lord!"
Ted: "Um...yeah! Thats a dustbin Mrs. Doyle"

Ted: "Mrs. Doyle, do you have your contacts in?"
Mrs. Doyle: "No, a dog ran off with them"

Jack: "that would be an ecuminical matter"

    And my favourite by far:

    Dougal: "BISHOPS LOVE SCI-FI"
Ted: "Dougal... we are not watching aliens"

And all of this is from the same episode!!! Madness! THIS episode is my favourite father Ted moment... 'Tentacles of Doom'. Great stuff!

    The Eoin McLove episode:

    I've no willy

    I smell wee

I'm no good at judging the size of crowds Ted, but I'd say there's about seventeen million of them
    out there

It's like a great big tide of jam. But jam made out of... old women.

I also love the 'small, far away' bit. All of it tbh.

My favourite moment is when Dougal is driving the milk-float and there's a big pyramid of cardboard boxes in his way.

    My favourite moment is,

Dougal: Did Len find the Rabbits, Ted?

Bishop Brennan: What did he say?!

Ted: Oh, God look, I'd better tell you-

Brennan: Did he call me Len again? (shouting) YOU ADDRESS ME BY MY PROPER TITLE, YOU LITTLE BOLLOCKS!

    And of course: ARSEBISCUITS

i can't believe some bar steward had the balls to vote against Ted.

Moment: When, after hours of fevered plotting and diagram-drawing, Ted announces his plan...

"That's right, WE PUT THE BRICK ON THE ACCELERATOR"
