Guess it's no Corrie for me then for another few days. Isn't this having the opposite effect? They are supposed to be encouraging people to watch it, not making people want to switch it off. I had the show on mute for most of the two episodes yesterday evening.

agreed, i cant bear to watch it with that thing in it. Wish she'd hurry up and kill herself

I'm not saying you watch it. Just that coming on a board to talk about a programme you don't watch has about the same merit as watching it in the first place!

i also heard rumours that status quo were gonna turn up at Les and Cilla's wedding! They are doing/ were doing a reunion tour and supposedly dropped in on the wedding as Les s such a huge fan???

Are you all watching tonight's episode? I just switched on the TV and for a second, I thought I was in Middle Earth! Did ye see the close up of Angela's wedding ring on a chain? Smells like Frodo to me

Katy better not be whinging tonight! If she is, I'm gonna fire this TV out the window!

yeah, but only to see how long more she'll be there before she tops herself!

No actually, once Katy starts whinging, I put it on mute and turn away from the TV. This also results in missing the rest of the show, but sure ah well :)

Corrie turns into the Simpsons? "This week's special guest star dragged in for entirely spurious reasons is..."

I'm definately with you on that, this contiuous crying is ruining my viewing! If it's not one thing setting her off its another. She killed him, she should handle it, her mother the wife of the man she killed is holding it together better

She is only a teenager

But the crying, wailing & general high-pitched, high-strung behaviour is REALLY getting old at this stage. Dead God when she was reading the rest of Craig's eulogy @ the funeral!

Just thought I'd divert a little from the whole Katy plot.... the beeb are introducing another new Irish actor into the soap. I read it in the RTE guide today that the actress that played Bernadette in the movie Magdelene Sisters is to appear on the show on March 30th for 9 episodes, and will be the love interest of Steve McDonald.

No wonder 'Eastenders' is so crap, the BBC are too busy hiring people to appear on 'Coronation Street' ;)

Corrie is an ITV soap not bbc though.
Eastenders is just crap because its crap!!!

Now for my own little rant about corrie,

Oh looky looky Angela takes the blame for katy, are we going to see yet another corrie character go to jail for a crime they didn't commit!!?

And why the f**k did scooter come back for that b*tch sarah? why why why
why can she go to prison instead...?

And that ray langton story is really thick, you'd know summer is coming the plots are gettin sh*te.

The plot about Shelly and Charlie is coming to an end over the Summer. Could be pretty good! But really, how can she be soo thick?! Hes a psycho..
I'd say Keith Duffy's character Ciarian is going to get involved and he'll get killed off somehow through it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,223 ✭✭✭OLDYELLAR

yea cahrlie is meant to kill ciaran because he walks in as charlie beating shellie or something according to my mother , lets hope he does in katy the whiney bit*h first though

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭memphis

Katy does herself in! And Angela goes to jail for the murder (after taking the blame), so what becomes of Craig??

I heard Ciaran was to be killed off ok, had no idea what story they had in line though. That should be good. Charlie is one evil b@st@rd ok.

Mike Baldwin is to die of Alzhemiers next year
This constant crying is gettin on my tits, i have barely watched since she offed her oul lad
Does Sallys boss remind anyone else of Alan Partridge? I dunno, theres just something about him that you think he probably describes a good ride as "top shelf action" "bonking" and other classic Partridgisms.
Memphis- id say Roy and Hayley will take in gothfreakboy. If i were the cops id frame him for the murder just to take him and his ilk off the streets

Lord why do i watch this sh1te

I thought that was all lies- he's not leaving. Anyway, I doubt he would die through alzheimers, more likely a heart attack or something

please dont say Coronation street is going to be the A-Team, a crime if they copy it :)

i watched it tonight for the 1st time is ages and i have to say that the murdering mother and daughter team talking about setting someone up is taking the piss too much. the old lad died ages ago and yet they still go on about this. talk about dragging a **** storyline out

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 240 ✭✭Ms Beanbag

when she put the murder weapon in his coffin- now that was just stoooopid. The police are deffo going to find it...

This dragged out to the last storyline is actually putting me (and my family) off watching Corrie these days. Its sickening stuff. I can't stand it to see Katy, swaying from side to side with the bottom lip out as she sulks away like a flaming 2 year old. Its pathetic, I certainly wouldn't call it acting anyway!

If she doesn't hurry up and do herself in I'm gonna fly to Manchester and put her outta her misery personally!
