Actually, Gen. Sedgwick accompanied by his chief of staff Maj. Gen. It is at this point that Maj. Gen. McMahon says that the scream of a bullet was heard once again, however this time it did not fly past but instead it's journey was cut short by Gen. Sedgwicks left cheek.

And that is the story of the last moments of General John Sedgwick. Not that the misquote annoys me or anything.
