I am currently job hunting. My contract says I need to give 3 months notice when leaving. Assuming I find a new job and hand in my notice, is there anything a company can do to enforce working 3 months over 1 months notice? I'm permanent, paid monthly, working there 2 and a half years. As I suspected, I have been told that my position is At Risk, no time frame for when the risk may occur but I think it's safe to say that no one will be too worried about me giving 1 months notice instead of 3 should that happen at this point.
