Fair showing of activity yesterday especially over the sea.

Increasingly under cold air aloft as the day goes on with the passage of occluded front and trough giving increasing convection with heavy showers and already picking up heavy rain/hail showers here this morning in Kerry, fine cloud structures and currently a good sunny spell. Some of the showers blustery, very loud shower here about an hour ago with convective gusts but calmed right down again.

Maybe more activity over the seas again today but not as much as yesterday . Some isolated storm overland possible but low chance, maybe coming in from the W moving inland a bit?? Will see later tonight if activity moves along off or close to the S coasts heading towards Wales.

Pic about an hour ago from here in Kerry near the coast.

I took some pics yesterday (and forgot to post them) of one of the squalls travelling inland. There was Mammatus clouds popping out of one end. I was impressed but not sure if anyone else will be but thought I’d throw them up anyway.
